Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
Brendan Shananahon can go **** himself with an iron pole.
Shae Weber: Intentional, smashed a player's head into the boards (twice), history of instances that needed review, $2500 fine Andrew Shaw: Unintentional, attempts to get out of the way of the goalie, major penalty, game misconduct, Smith plays the rest of the game and attends practice, no history of reviews, 3 game suspension Let's all attend "Lessons in Constancy 202" by Prof. Shanahan so we can better understand these calls.

If anyone can, the Canucks can. But that's the biggest "if" that's ever been fired out of a human mouth.

Daniel might be back, but I was watching Henrik after he got clocked in game 3, and he didn't really look like himself, if you know what I mean.
I know I picked the Canucks, but I kinda want the Kings to deliver a bit of euthanasia tonight. |

Shaw = rookie. There's your reasoning. Also, Canucks and Kings don't go until Wednesday. Scheduling is dumb, I know. Also, Fallen, I think he meant Joe. Not Shawn. |

Definitely a perfect reason to dish out punishments.

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
Panthers claw back and beat the Devils in their own barn 4-3 after getting destroyed in the first 5 minutes. Definitely didn't see that outcome coming. 3-0 leads are never safe..

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
The Florida and New Jersey game was awesome, I'm glad I picked them as my favorite to win that series.
Related to the previous conversation: If it was Joe Thornton he meant then yeah, I agree totally, he's a big body who also has great hands but it's probably the worst playoff player in the history of the game, so for that I don't really put much faith in San Jose.

Well the Jets didn't make the playoffs so we don't have to worry about that buzzsaw of a team.

I think NJ need to learn how to not commit so many damn penalties.
Disappointing loss

Ugh. Detroit needs to pull their heads out of their asses. The mental miscues that led to the second Nashville goal were just inexcusable. Three guys and Howard pursue one dude with the puck, he dishes to a guy tearing down the middle and there's nobody home.
I am THIS CLOSE to abandoning the winged wheel as my avvy. |

I hope the Rangers win against Ottawa and get in a series against the Flyers. Would be awesome, since the Rangers have a 6-0 record against them this season.
I hate the Flyers (less than I hate the Bruins, but close)
