Re: Buying Headphones.
I've got some SkullCandy ear buds that've been working well for me for about 5 months.
Only about $40-50 too.

Skullcandy I think is the best, and if you go to the right place, you cane get them around $20. When staples had them on sale for $10, i got like 10 pairs. XD

Skullcandies are overrated. Anyways, do you want earbuds / on ears / over ears?

Re: Buying Headphones.
I'm a Grado man myself. Lacking a tad bit in bass, but soundstage and clarity is really unmatched.

Re: Buying Headphones.
I'm amazed with my Audio-Technica headphones, I've got some ATH-A900's but that passes your price limit.
Check their site if you like: http://www.audio-technica.com/cgi-bi.../headphones.pl [edit] **** I didn't look at their other stuff, most of its past $100 but there are a few $100 and under Last edited by Gano; 08-31-2008 at 11:52 PM.. |

Re: Buying Headphones.
First of all, avoid BOSE and Skullcandy like the plague. They are overrated and overpriced pieces of garbage.
Audio-Technica ATH-A500 the only decent closed phones in your range Grado SR80 (the best for rock/jazz) Sennheiser HD 555 for classical and electronic AKG K 81 DJ are cool too I guess
