I'd say amazing song, good file. But I think "amazing" is a bit overkill. It felt like it was a bit too dumbed down. It's a great tourney file I give it that for sure.

idk, I'd personally rather wait until at least the round is over to fix d7 file

Still though, this was really fun and D3's certainly going to get a kick to the nuts, the difficulty's quite a big step up from Session.
Yeah, the section you're talking about was a pretty universal complaint from all the judges. I originally stepped it without it being jumpspam and didn't really like it at the time. Looking back, that was probably the better way to step it and I should have listened to the judges. Glad you liked it otherwise.

We won't change the file at all for the duration of the tournament, as that would compromise the round's integrity, but the changes will have to be made after the tournament. The only two ways I can see otherwise: 1) if the newer version has the exact same arrow count (which it doesn't), or 2) if the overwhelming majority of D7 players would prefer and agree to make changes sooner rather than later. The changes aren't major, but does include an additional four arrows.

Would like to hear from you guys.

Also, D1's song is made by Silvuh.
Changing it now likely wouldn't have a big impact on the majority of the D7 players, but for integrity's sake I say just keep it the way it is until the round is over.

Also thanks for clearing that up.

i think layering anything more would keep each section from standing out from each other

D1 : mellow song, very soothing and very helpful if you want to sleep
D2 : Kinda repetitive, don't know if that's less of a problem in lower level songs, but it didn't change much although the file got a bit harder at the ending.
D3 : Cool song, reminded me of ''We are the vampires''
D4 : Really nice song, somehow reminded me of last year's 'The Whip'
D5 : yodeler in texas, I've played this song alot on stepmania, however this stepchart was alot harder with the hands, still amazing song and good challenging stepchart imo
D6 : Meh, the thrills were hard, but very well synced, I hardly noticed any out of sync issues in the thrills and bursts. The majority of the song was easy, except for the thrills and the last part with the jacks -> thrill burst

D7 : Can't really comment, because I will need alot of practice to fully enjoy this song. It's abit too dense for me atm, did notice a lot of split thrills

played all the files

d7 - already gave thoughts on this, intense but I honestly don't think it's harder than pandemonium. the jumpstream along with the polyrhythm ending owns.

d6 - i wanna print out this file, frame it, and hang it on my wall

d5 - fucking hilarious lmao, file is great and seriously had to fight to keep myself together during the whip crack and the 24th note synced to the pig

d4 - over stayed it's welcome imo, bland song choice and a bit too long. nothing special.

d3 - neat file, song's alright. you should step this for sm though because songs in this genre tend to make really cool gimmicky charts

d2 - index file fits really well with this song, given how repetitive it is. speedup was a nice change of pace (hue)

d1 - the next time i play this file i will be drinking a pina colada.

D1: I would say warm sea is comparable to D1's first round song. While the over all note-density is probably higher, I think it will be easier to score high on this song given that it is shorter and only has one tricky spot (where as rainbow road had a handful).

D2: I really like this song. Think it's easier than a 30 given that I could FC it on my second try. But I also really love streams.

D3-D7: Too hard for me to bother.

For the first time in ever, I'm actually quite excited for this rounds song my division.

Now if someone would step Boulafacet or The Man Crossing The Channel that would be sick.

I'd have to rebuild it anyway, but it would be so worth it because the song rocks. (also dibs if we do have perms.)

We have blanket permission for CanBlaster and considering Hardkore Atomic and Disconnected Hardkore are technically Diclonius Kid songs I'm 99% sure it's safe.

Also worth noting, I think most people know that Nightmare is also CanBlaster.

I personally really enjoyed D6's song. It has just enough bmah to make it that much more challenging with the trill slow downs and colorful notes.
