So I got my new keyboard...
And I was thoroughly disappointed with the outcome. I received my Ducky Shine 4 with Red Switches yesterday and the keyboard felt like I was playing on a wireless keyboard that's just barely connected. When playing Stepmania, I was getting consistent late perfects while I was MA'ing and every once in a while, a straight keyboard miss out of nowhere comes. It's literally like the keyboard won't keep up with the keytaps so it falls behind or something idk. I was wondering if there was any sort of solution or ideas for this issue because I realy don't want to send this back and get yet another qpad. There has to be a problem with the keyboard or something that can be fixed because a $160 should be able to play Stepmania efficiently lmao

reasons why I never find the money to invest in such expensive keyboards and beg people to go hunting for me to find wired ONN white slim keyboards.

Re: So I got my new keyboard...
I thought a $200 keyboard would work for FFR..
I'm on my eighth replacement and I've lost the receipt so I am stuck with this eighth defective one.

Re: So I got my new keyboard...
Usually my best keyboards were on the lower end of the price range. Try different USB ports / reinstall drivers and hope for the best otherwise return it for something that looks nice enough to tolerate.

Re: So I got my new keyboard...
Is this keyboard USB 3.0 compatible? yes/no? Do you have it plugged in a USB 3.0 port? (probably won't change much, but it doesn't hurt either. I bet most of the extra voltage is for the light effects etc. just pray it's for delay/sensivity too)

I'm still hoping someone in D7+ get a topre switch keyboard just for the hell of it and compare it with QPad and the other mech-ish keyboards. I feel like topre switches will outperform all the current generations of mech keyboard. ..but they're all 200$+ derp. #we need more sacrifices Last edited by Hakulyte; 12-11-2015 at 07:20 AM.. |

Re: So I got my new keyboard...
Keyboards are always hit-miss, I had a similar experience with a CM quickfire tk brown switch that cost me $120 that's just sitting in the box :/

Re: So I got my new keyboard...
I'm still on my first mech which I got in August of last year and it still works perfectly (besides the 7 and 8 keys which don't input sometimes because I spilled water in the numpad twice lol). It's a das keyboard s ultimate with brown switches and I've never had any complaints about it. But I guess it is a bit more up there in the price range at $140 including shipping.
