I have AAA'ed Outside the Skies for the longest. When the token first came out I got it. Anyway, thanks for the words of inspiration Redsky. It means a lot to me to know that you are also in this to watch each other get better instead of ONLY being in this for pure competition.

Hey guys, I'm noticing that half the current top 30 in the list is totally inactive - that throws off the competitiveness and the accuracy of it. I'm going around looking for other one handers to add to the list, but my search is coming along very slowly - as of now, I've found only four who meet the requirement for entering the list:

I'm considering giving a bounty for each one you can find. Also, I'm going to be updating the list today or tomorrow, but given how I've been unable to sleep for two days now....eh.

Well, I have tried in the past to find and promote one-handing. I love the style and sometimes I find a person who just tells me I am awesome and I find out they are also a one-hander. Most of the time, they do not have an avg rank below 4000; so I really never mention the top 30 to them unless they are close to below 4000 avg rank. I like your idea though and I am glad you have found some with potential.

Redsky is owning me by the way; I do think that I still have many songs to AAA. I just have not done it yet. For example, yesterday I blackflagged Elements. I know I can AAA more songs, I just need to keep at it.

All I want for New Years is to get my avg rank below 1,000. Once I do this, everything after is considered a bonus to me. The only goal I have after that is to play Vertex Beta well. Less than 50 boos and misses? Closest I have ever done was 110 boos and 112 misses.

Even if their average rank is less than the requirement needed to get on the list, tell them about it anyways. I know several people who worked on their average ranks just to get on, and when they did, stayed one handed while working on their rank continuously to maintain a spot on the list.

Not only that, but the more people know about the list, the more they can tell others about it. The thread's popularity is often attributed to word of mouth, since most don't even look around the forums.

It has been done. I just told Hiruka_Rei . They have an avg rank of 10,000ish though. I am sure if they tried; they can make it. Just like we all did once! Also, I have a friend who is a one-hander and he says when he gets a new monitor; he will definitely try to get better than me.

Thanks a lot man - perhaps this thread can take off in a way it has yet to do, primarily because there aren't enough people. I'm wanting to start another one handed tournament, but I'm looking for more participants this time before I begin. Maybe this way we can get others to come and be a part of the one handed community. Also, since your other friend plays spread, who's the other one who plays one handed? And

Nice AAA. Yeah, I haven't even FC'ed that one yet. Some of those patterns at the end get me every time.

Yeah, it's better to get people who are not yet good and encourage them to become good enough to get on the list. The more competition, the better. Plus, I anticipate we'll lose a certain % to switching to spread or becoming inactive, so there needs to be players to fill those slots.

Oh! I'd like to create a one-handed skill token: exactly 3 goods and 8 boos on speed limit 38. I'm working on the image now.

The jump part of Innocent Decay always gets me - hence why I was so lucky in AAAing it.

And, posting so I don't have to get the token later.


Make sure you name it as well. Also, I'm considering adding tokens to the tier list (once it's updated) - there should be a reason to get them, as competitive reasons don't appear to be sustaining token grabbers.

Haven't been able to get mine back under 1,000 for a hell of a long time, sort of gave up on it for now.

Go ahead and stick me on there...I don't play much anymore, but I figure I'll pick it up again eventually.

lol i personally think their should be easier songs on the tiers list...like include a lot more lvl 7/8s...cause atm, im not really tying for tiers bcause im not good enough to do that on most lvl 8/9/10s....

anyway, yeah, whenever i play MP with somone i ask them if theyre 1 handed or 2, if theyre 1, i show them this thread.

PS: RB dosnt even know shes on the top 30 list lol, i told her yesterday and she said "theres a top 30 list?" wtf lol...anyways he's started spread...

also, most people on the top 3 list arent staying competitive cause honestly, getting on that list is not that hard, then they stop trying...maybe if u cut it down to top 15/10, that would make everyone a bit more competitive, and you could still mention all the one handers or something...i dont know, im just throwing out suggstions.

Did a random update of the list and added Redsky's token in, among other things. With RB_Quackies gone, I regained my #1 spot on that list. Also, since we added four new people to the list, the rank of the person on #30 has dropped by almost 500 - we need more of this!

That's great to hear you'll be playing again. The more competition, the better. You seem pretty good too, so I hope you'll be able to hold a high position on the list in time.

Wow, he seems pretty good. o_o

I'll talk to him about the list and see what he says. Hopefully he will start working on his average rank to gain acceptance onto the list. As for the bounty, I don't know. you guys seem real willing to help regardless, which eliminates the need for one, it seems.

Glad to see you're interested.

All information can be found on the front post, including the tokens. If you want to get on the list, you'll need to get your average rank under 3500, as the person in last place currently has such a rank. I'm willing to bet you can go under 1000 if you tried.
