Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
^^^^
#Justmy2cents but if night talk is in fact, on, then wolf team better be stacked with some roles or a certain condition that gives balance; although the more convenient and safe way of balancing is removing night talk (which generally isn't on as much as it used to be).

Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
I'm confused tho, so ootc excludes quicktopics?
Rather, if it says ootc is off, that's more to imply no masonchat/private chats besides wolfchat? Either way I just wanna get the game rolling, my vote can go to T Force (esp since I haven't seen a Mii of myself in a long time). I'll pull the vote count up and we can get this ball rolling? |

Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
ootc excludes quicktopics yes. when ootc is off, it just means that, unless you're a mason, you cannot communicate with another player like how games used to be run with AIM.

Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
T-Force - 3, 1, 1, 3, = 8
rzr - 3 = 3 sunfan - 3, 2, 3, 3 = 11 should be right. I'm still getting a feel for sunfan's game, so I'll hold on to that other vote for now. |

Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
Perhaps you guys can shed some light here, is this setup one that is randomized each game it is played? Or is it so vast with the role details.. I can't seem to understand how one would go about rolling that game, but it looks fuckin awesome

EDIT: like, what does it mean by repeating? How does this determine the player pool? Could there be a shit ton of PR's? Last edited by rzr; 11-5-2015 at 12:26 PM.. |

Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
the host randomizes 7 numbers from 1-100, and that will give him 7 letters
based on the frequency of each of the letters occuring, that's how you establish the power roles (for example, if there were 3 'T's rolled initially, you would get TTT = 2 Goons + Roleblocker, Serial Killer (Investigation Immune OR 1-Shot Bulletproof) as the anti-town roles) after all power roles are established, the remaining slots are filled with townspeople. |

Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
so like, if i random number generate:
7 100 16 62 16 39 97 that corresponds to the letters: T B T C T T B there are 2 Bs, 1 C, and 4Ts power roles are: BB = Roleblocker + 1-Shot Roleblocker C = 1-Shot Cop scum is: TTTT = 2 Goons + Roleblocker so the full game is: One 1-shot roleblocker One Full roleblocker One 1-shot cop 2 mafia goons 1 mafia roleblocker 7 vanilla town |

Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
and in a C9++, you can reverse-engineer the setup based on the claims and flips, so you can mechanically clear and mafia read people through this, which is cool

Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
Okay, I think I get it, will we be notified of what roles are in the setup that rolls out?
Ayy that sounds pretty intense, I like it Last edited by rzr; 11-5-2015 at 12:31 PM.. |

Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
no, that's a secret, but again, you would be able to work out roles usually later in the game based on the flips and claims.
you'll know your role because you're pmed it, but otherwise, you don't know the specific game setup, only the specifics in randomizing it |

Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
Also, with sunfanx3 that makes 20, let's roll boys
EDIT: hmmm, very interesting, YoshL. Thank you for clarifying, this will be intense lol. Seems pretty fool proof though, I like that Last edited by rzr; 11-5-2015 at 12:33 PM.. |

Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
i like it because the setup has some good semblance of balance: the amount of "T"s signifies the anti-town power, except, the less "T"s there are, the stronger the anti-town is. So, the more power roles that the town has, the stronger anti-town is. If you look at the sample setup i generated, the town and anti-town are pretty lackluster.
tl;dr the stronger town is, the stronger anti-town is and it's cool also sunfan can we break the 500000 streak that we have for having a serial killer in literally every single fucking c9++ game |

Re: TWG CXLIII - Voting Thread
I know there's been a SK in every single c9++ game except for one LOL
I swear the odds aren't 50/50 Will open the signups thread nowish Since I nearly made the mistake last time, there WILL be a 24 hour delay between when the game is rolled and you receive your PM and when the game actually starts (This is for the SK to send me which of the two between seer-immune and 1-shot bulletproof they want). Normal rules will apply, with the exception being I will accept role actions through mediums other than FFR PM. If you wish to add me on Skype, please let me know. Making the thread now.
