Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 1
Addict is SUCH a fun file to play! Great file and song. D5's file is killing me with those aggressive jumpstreams, will try to improve 6g.

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 1
D4 sounds like a Harry Potter dubstep remix.
D5 has weird dense jumpstream. The song is okay. D6 has some weird patterns, but is fun overall. Not too fond of the jumpglut patterns but they're appropriate. |

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 1
D5's song was one of the "FFR R2 Mission" files I made to submit for FFR. Super Signal Force was the results screen music in FFR R2, and that one is also ingame.

I wish I had a solid computer to play on. I've tried a lot of the lag reduction issue things, but I still tend to get every other song as a lag fest.
IE: one run of Addict I got 120-0-0-2 The very next run I got 19-3-0-0 (with only 3 goods into the 700 section when it started lagging again) I hate computers and it's day 1

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 1
I really don't like spoils lol, not sure why people like it but the song sucks and the file is kinda generic.
What the hell is happening with the music to warrant those dumb-as-shit color changes.

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 1
I only played Lunar Landing and Death March; I enjoyed them both. Death March had many hands that surprised me. I noticed many songs are beginning to incorporate these patterns more frequently than older songs.

I only played Lunar Landing (my song) and Dead March.
Lunar Landing: It is a fun file to play, but unfortunate i'm not good enough to AAA it. At the beginning i was suprised by the little jumps in it, but after that i was able FC it pretty quick. Dead March: Nice file to play, but a little tricky for me. There much triple arrows and four arrows at the same and i haven't mastered that kind of arrows. |

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 1
D3's Infinity is really easy compared to last year's Glorious Morning, same for Addict and Fall Silently, I'd maybe even be able to get past this round if I hadn't given up already.

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 1
if you normally play arrow keys you could temporarily (or permanently, if hands/quads get to you) switch to a configuration like klo;, etc. Most keyboards don't support hands/quads on arrow keys, but they do elsewhere.
If that doesn't work, then whoops |

I have similar scores on both sets of songs, so I don't see much difference.

i mean my keyboard registers it, but hitting those four keys with one hand is more crowded than a train in tokyo at noon

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 1
D1: Just the typical super easy chart, not very enjoyable to me but still stepped well. 7/10
D2: Can't remember this one so well, again a super easy chart to me but well stepped, lol @ hands/quads. 7/10 D3: Nice job on this one, thought it was pretty fun with the slower triplets and what not, cool song as well. 9/10 D4: Ugh this one reminded me so much of last year's Fall Silently, but I found this one to be alot easier as it only took 3 tries to AAA (still can't AAA FS, I just tried.) decent song, had much better steps than FS though imo. 8/10 D5: So at first I was thrilled that this was a JS song, that thrill soon turned to rage as I learned I can't ever seem to nail the broken JS, song itself is alright and the steps are pretty good (except for that one part I keep failing ugh lol.) 8/10 D6: I know this one is pretty split but I'm going to have to join the people who love this chart, there are some parts I'm really not a fan of (jumpgluts, 32nd one-hander trills) but the rest of the file + being the best song of round 1 makes up for it. 9/10 |

I feel kind of bad for D4. This is what I see every time I do that trill.

Use your middle finger to hit both the up and down arrows
