jTWG L: Mutiny In FFR II
I've decided to theme this one around FFR. For those who played my old Mutiny In FFR game, you know what it's about. For those who didn't here's a little summary:
One of the admins turned on the others and started releasing bugs into the system and deleting the other's accounts. This admin, unknown at the time as Chardish, was the only wolf. Surprisingly, the wolf, Makilaz, won. Well, in this one Chardish has learned his lesson. The admins have reunited and the site returned to its glory. However, though they're unsure how it's happening, the site has been infested with another virus and is slowly crashing, the admins falling one by one. I'll leave it at that... The Wolves - Wolf Seer - Seers red to human seer and chooses one player each night to seer Master Wolf - Seers green to all seers Wolf - Generic wolf The Blues - Guardian - Messages me each night with the name of a player to protect the life of. Seers blue to both seers Seer - Messages me each night with the name of a player to see the color of 9 Humans Night Talking: On AIM: On Card Flipping: On (it's been a long time since a jTWG has used it). It is now Night 1. Night 1 will end tomorrow night at 8 PM EST. Last edited by rzr; 08-20-2008 at 11:20 PM.. |

Oh cool.
All I get is the generic "Admin." p.s. it'd be nice to know how many wolves there are. p.p.s. human for once in my freaking j/TWG career. Maybe second time I've ever been human. |

Ha. I've changed the title. Now nobody change it back. XLX isn't really a number in roman numerals. Tupacodaman and I were discussing a bit.. And came to the conclusion that it's improper grammar in math. The title is officially "jTWG L: Mutiny In FFR II"

How so? Wouldn't it read 10+50+10? But, isn't L already 50? So, what game are we actually at?

here's what my roomate said:
peraakons: xl is 40 peraakons: and lx is 60 peraakons: but together its nothing peraakons: unless its 50 peraakons: which makes the x's unneccessary peraakons: one way its like 40+10..... peraakons: if you like....pretend.... peraakons: idk peraakons: its improper grammar in math! lol. |

Re: jTWG XLX: Mutiny In FFR II
lol ... XLX reads 50+10-10 = 50.
So just "L" is correct. A smaller numeral in front of a larger (i.e. XL) means the smaller is subtracted from the larger. A smaller number behind a larger (i.e. LX) means the smaller is added to the larger. So if you combine those two, you get fifty plus ten minus ten, which renders both X's redundant. Obviously you know how to read roman numerals, maybe you're just confused. |

Re: jTWG L: Mutiny In FFR II
We're at 50. L is 50, XLIX is 49. The X's cancel out in the end because it's -10 +50 +10
Edit: Dang.. Ninja'd. Oh and by the way.. The improper grammar in math is like one the funniest things i've heard in quite a while. Last edited by iluswirl; 08-21-2008 at 12:57 AM.. |

K. If I knew how to edit my title I would. And iluswirl, you're not allowed to edit or delete posts in the game. That's why double posting is allowed. But don't whore the thread either.

Doh. Rofl. I forgot about that. I was so caught up in all of the crap I was doing. It had nothing to do with the game, I swear. I just put in that I was ninja'd.
