Derp, Panthers lost... Was hoping they would close it out in 6 instead of having it go to 7.

Three 4-1 trouncings in the West, three game 7s in the east.
Baffled by people who think the west is going to be boring now. There's nothing left but underdogs, I'm pumped as shit. |

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
This sooo much... Even though some arent really underdogs. Yeah they're pretty much all new to the higher playoff experience, but they have very solid teams. The only underdogs I See there are the kings and the coyotes, even though the coyotes have been underdogs for the 2 past years lol.

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
In a shocking turn of events, both Finalists from the 10/11 season are OUT as the Washington Capitals win 2-1 in overtime to defeat the defending Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins. The record for picks is: 4-26! Cause, y'know, there's totally not a lot of upset this year; not at all.
Finally got a victory. \o/ EDIT: No more perfect victory, but 2 people are still 0-6. If Florida and Ottawa win tomorrow, but igotrhythm and ice_lazer3 will BOTH go 0-8! Last edited by T-Force; 04-26-2012 at 12:03 AM.. |

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
At this point I'd LOVE Floride and Ottawa to win, and then Philly being taken care of quickly before they can **** up anyone.
Then I swear, most exciting playoffs in existence. Already getting HUGE interest in the West. Awesome hockey teams who play dead clean...

I already knew this from the NCAA tourney, but this is more proof why they call them "upsets." Because people get upset when their picks are wrong.

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
With the second round starting tomorrow, you guys had better get ready to post your picks after Florida and NJ finish up.
You'd think they'd wait at least a day, but NOPE. |

I don't care who you are, this is amazing and I have to give credit where credit is due.
As for the picks, yeah I'd have thought they'd give you more than 12 hours to think about them.. lol

Re: NHL Playoff Predictions: 2011-12 Edition
Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuch. Harsh. XD
And 1 down, 1 to go. Canada is out! The New York Rangers hang on to eliminate the Ottawa Senators in 7 games. The record for picks is: 28-2! Finally something we could all agree on. And that means no one is perfect! igot, and ice_lazer both got one correct. Now to see if they share the prize for worst pickers with anyone else. Also, that means one of our two random guessers, pikakirby123, WILL have the best record in round 1. I almost feel gypped (no offense, dude). Last edited by T-Force; 04-26-2012 at 08:47 PM.. |
