MINES?!
What is this, I don't even... I was changing my speed mod, accidentally changed it to 0.2 instead of 2.0 and this was the result. They disappear right away, but still, what is this?! The screen cap is what pops up as soon as I restart the song, although I only get it like once every 10 restarts.

^^Which is why they only show when you do speedmods incredibly low, and they don't always show and usually not for very long.

Mines have been in the game for months, even the code and sound effects are in there. Mines only have have a 3 frame hit window because they have a side affect of the taking the focus away from the notes themselves and makes mines unavoidable if placed to close to notes.
They did -10 score and broke combo. |

Of course, you realize that if you make mined submissions legal, you'd need to add a Mines On/Off option as well.
As for hitting the mines, I wasn't quite sure what you meant...is it 3 frames total, or 3 frames either way from the mine, for a total of 7 mine-hit frames? |

Mines shouldn't break combo (as they typically don't on SM/ITG).
Either way, people wouldn't want to see mines, so I won't go anywhere with that discussion. |
