If my post earlier was unclear I'm sorry; I'll elaborate.
Ever since Anaru (OHN) has came back, this thread has been filled with the same drama over and over again. He's made several videos of FGO AAA's because people are doubting his legitimacy. I haven't been active here for that long, but most hackers here would not trying giving you visual proof of what they're doing to achieve these scores.
However, I'm not here to talk about legitimacy. I'm using him as an example to show people are taking this a little too far. I came back to FFR actively because I enjoyed this game and loved playing it. The scores did matter to me - anyone who plays this game competitively would care about the scores. But they are your personal scores. If you get a AAA or a boo flag on a song, Anaru's scores are not going to change what you got on a particular song. Everyone has a good bit of knowledge of where their skill is in this game.
Anaru has been nice enough to try to show video proof that he hasn't been cheating - and he's done it multiple times. Leonid has done the same thing (yes, I did some research). And the BS calls are still coming. Most hackers would NOT do this.
This is why I say it's being taken too seriously amongst some of the members. Learn to play for fun and you might not care so much.

His videos honestly dont prove shit, the most I've seen him do in his recent vids is point the camera at the taskbar which shows nothing, that is not really a source for saying his scores are legit.

Dude are you kidding me right now? Like that's a serious question. How the hell am I "contradicting" myself?????? Let me remind you that average rank is NOT entirely dependant on GT and FC's....also as you stated "in your opinion"....well guess what? that's all it is, and OPINION. there's no right or wrong way to play this game (in terms of what a person wants to achieve. since i don't care about skill, i choose to go for GT and try and get all the FC's. I think Zak was negating what he previously said with the edit. Anyways, there is no reason to get butthurt about his words now, people are entitled to share their opinion (it's not as if he was trying to pull it off as a fact.) I do agree with Zak though, I feel the same toward GT and FC's. When it comes to FC count, if you are blindly mashing for some of them, then I feel your FC count is more of a display of stamina, as opposed to skill. I guess stamina is a good thing to show off, so I see where you could be coming from. Anyways, with GT, it just shows how much you've played the game. Someone could have overall rank 1 by AAA'ing excite bike 24/7, but that doesn't mean that said person is skilled at the game. Anyways, that's my two cents.

ssbmchamp: Next time you get a good score, save a replay. Your arguments aren't really going anywhere; people who are suspicious are still suspicious, and people who are convinced are still convinced. But a legit reply will convince the suspicious.

Yeah, and, turns out, he's been botting this whole time. A lot of his FFR replays are frame perfect on the vast majority of notes with slight deviations on the rest. So despite the videos there is reason to doubt his legitimacy. As for taking this game way to seriously. Jesus ****ing christ are you serious? A game can only progress with the valuable community it has in this case. Yes the engine here is progressing via Velocity, yes everything else is being handled for some parts, but it's progressing. The fact that the community itself is up in ****ing arms all over the place makes it that less enjoyable to come to the forums. SO, in that case, people play the game/engine. They enjoy playing the songs. They enjoy their scores. Etc. etc. If that is taking it too far bud, kindly go shove a remote up your ass and hide in a closet. That shit isn't going to stop. This is a gaming site. With any come SERIOUS BIZNESS and to be honest it is much needed.

So kindly get off the "taking this site too seriously" bullshit. If you don't like it, move to KBO. Oh wait, that's dead too. Kindly just /kill self. Take care.

I understand and i'm not saying that this isn't serious business but the way most people are handling situations on this site is to bitch and complain instead of handling it like mature people who are having a discussion.

No, you are 100% correct. But, the fact is, this community is not working together as a team. No, this is what is going on:

Velocity works on Engine
Psychoangel works on Events
Mod's do stuff
Admins do stuff
community trolls mods/admins
community thinks they are better then everyone else.

See my pattern? Okay some MOD's and ADMINS you really don't hear from much (which is lul imo) and some MOD's are here and there or everywhere. Things are scattered on this site because why? No direction or supervision. Synthlight has a life and unfortunately is unable to correctly run this game site. So it's being left to a disfunctional community, which in turn, will only kill itself unless people stop their ****ing stupid trolling, and get up and help everyone out. It's quite simple. IF people want to continue playing this game, then do something about the community. If the community keeps up with it's boredom games, (ie trolling) then eventually you're gonna lose a lot of the community. Then, all that will be left, are the elitist assholes that think they know everything.
