SimFile Syncopation
I've been making step files for a while now with stepmania, in conjunction with xstep (for file creation purposes). I finally built up enough courage to actually submit one of the songs I made a stepfile/simfile for, and when it loaded, and when I played it, the arrows were about one and a half beats off beat as compared to the music.
Any suggestions as to different programs to use, or different configurations to experiment with will be greatly appreciated! I would like to get some of my public work actually worthy for public viewing. P.S. The simfiles, when played in Step Mania, match up 98% of the time with the music, instead of the FFResonance matching the arrows with the music 5% of the time.

Re: SimFile Syncopation
resonance is pretty terribly built. as i've said countless times... it is merely designed as a quick test of user made simfiles. that way, you can try it out in resonance before having to downloading for play in SM.
if you want to submit a file for FFR, the instructions on how to do so are in the Queue thread. we must have permission to use the song though, as opposed to resonance.

also... just noticed... you used the wrong work. syncopation deals with stressed vs unstressed beats in a song. synchronization is "sync"... aka, now well the notes line up with the music.

Re: SimFile Syncopation
Mm. =)
The arrows were rather... syncopated against the music. For posterity's sake, though, thank you. Both words work, however synchronization is a better choice ^_^ Though I'm not sure I used the wrong "work," as you put it XD Anyway, off to smfile land!
