Re: 2nd Unofficial FFR Tournament - SIGN-UPS CLOSED
I explained the reason a few posts earlier. I'm now bouncing the idea around of making it on the 10th. I HIGHLY doubt this but I just wanted to see what people think. Seeing as how it's in the middle of the week, it would flow well for any and all people who have more time on either end of the week.

Re: 2nd Unofficial FFR Tournament - SIGN-UPS CLOSED
So what if their anniversary is on the 10th, you still have 6 more days in the round to play. I'm sure you'd find time to play within that stretch.

Re: 2nd Unofficial FFR Tournament - SIGN-UPS CLOSED
I think it'd be nice to have some time after the weekend to get some scores in.
Me, I tend to do really well in my first hour of playing, and then taper out past that, not sure why. If the deadline ended on the weekend, when I'd probably be doing most of my playing, chances are I'd hold it off until then to get any decent scores, and two days certainly isn't enough for me =P. It may only be for psychological reasons, considering when it starts and/or finishes doesn't technically matter if we're still incorporating every day of the week, but I think it would be much easier if it ended in the middle of the week.

Re: 2nd Unofficial FFR Tournament - SIGN-UPS CLOSED
Exactly what I was thinking. Different times are better for everyone. Soooo, in the middle of the week, you either have the first half or the second half of the week, INCLUDING ALL of the weekend to play, depending on which section of time you have more time to play or seem to play better. If you do best and have most time during the middle of the week... then whore yourself after the beginning of each round for a score and wait the week out. I just see having it in the middle of the week as the best time for everyone.

Re: 2nd Unofficial FFR Tournament - SIGN-UPS CLOSED
DJ_Swabber, how many credits did you actually have before giving away one million? The highest I've ever gotten is around 60,000 (before donating 10,000 to this comp. as well as buying all the tunes in the shop area)? Okay, I know people can whore on FFR and some have been here for a looooong time. But still.....gambling?
Anywho, good luck to everyone and I hope people stop complaining about anything whatsoever unless the basic rules of this competition get hindered. Someone who is bound to be in the first position or near it isn't breaking a rule in my opinion, simply that he/she is a favourite to attain the spot. |
