CSI Season Finale
Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino.
It was on just a few hours ago so sorry that I posted this late if you wanted to see it but never heard about it. I just never thought of putting it here until now. How many of you watched this episode? I don't know what to think of Gil saying Uma's exact line from Kill Bill Vol. 2, or the conversation between Nick and Warrick sounding exactly like Jules and Vincent from Pulp Fiction. It was half cool, half just plain weird. *Spoilers if you haven't seen it and plan on it* The hallucination scene was hilarious (He has a good heart), and the old guy who blew himself up was very unexpected. Those ants made me want to die. </spoilers> Overall I thought this episode was very awesome and suspenseful. Quentin's directing definitely stood out in the way this episode was shot and edited, and in the general attitude of the characters. If you didn't see this episode, I highly recommend you try to find it and watch it. It should be thought of more like a movie than an episode of CSI, only with all the same actors.

RE: CSI Season Finale
Missed it, but it was a good show all together though.

Saw it
Was VERY interesting... I kept thinking I solved the case before the show ended. I thought he was under the case with the dog, not somewhere else, for a webcam signal cannot travel that far without a REALLY big long-distance plan. A bit gorey, but all good none the less |

I've only been watching the older episodes on Spike TV sicne I'm jsut getting into the series, but I had to watch this anyway.
I have to agree with someone earlier. (Sorry I blanked out on their name...stupid allergy medicine) It felt like a mini movie to me too. Usually, I am not as found of Tarantino's directing skills, but Ithought he did a pretty good job with this because it kept the intrest of everyone in my house.

i would have to agree with nikaddemus. I really liked the episode. I don't know neccesarily if it would stand up as its own movie though.

CSI as a whole doesn't work as a movie. There isn't enough action. Too much heady/science stuff, not enough movement and fast paced action. Yes, the finale had more than usual, but still not enough for a movie.
Perhaps if the big movie budget was given to the CSI folks to make a movie it could work... but, I'm still iffy about it.
