If I remember right, some of my favorites are:

White Reflection - Endless Waltz (GW movie)
Don't Be Discouraged - Slayer Try (Ending, or atleast one of it's remixes, can't really remember)
Jama wa Sasenai - Slayers Next (Ending)

I know there are plenty more but I don't have any of the songs on my computer for reference.

EDIT: Meh, I think I like Give a Reason more the Don't Be Discouraged actually.

Haha, jewpin. I popped in the first disc of Kare Kano to look through the credits to find out who does the music, listened to the opening theme because I just can't skip such an awesome song, skipped to the ending theme, then remembered that it's entirely in kanji, which I can't read. But I listened to the song anyway, because it owns. I suppose you could IMDB it, too.

Oh, and is "Arianne" the person who sings Komm Süsser Tod?

It's Rei, Guido...at least, I think so.
Also, Escaflowne's music rocks pretty hard core...or if you are into people singing badly (or at least sort of badly) then check out SMJ....(Hanagata....hehehe)

Arianne is the group (and/or person) that does Komm Süsser Tod.

I know that the ending song, Yume no Naka (h)e, was an old Japanese classic, and it is sung by the voice actors from the series...so I dont know who it is preformed by. But the opening song is titled "tenshi no yubikiri" and is sung by Fukuda Mai. Though I am not a big fan of the song. However I love the background music.

Haha, I just remembered I memorized Komm Süsser Tod in the 8th grade (4 years ago) after watching End of Evangelion at my friends house...that song rocks.

The lyrics make up my favorite away message. I remember loving the song about...four years ago when I heard it on my roommate's computer. I had never seen Eva, nor would I for several years afterward, but it was still a sweet song. The appropriateness of the placement made it a hundred times cooler, too.

All the music to Kare Kano is fantastic. If it didn't loop too often, I would just put in the DVD and let it sit on the menus. Of course, I have about four Kare Kano CDs on my XBOX, too.

Since I don't want this forum section to become like some others, I must request that you never post before looking at that website that Brainmaster submitted ever again.

Nobody should ever ask "What's FLCL?" Either they don't know what it is and can look it up for themselves or they are just lazy and don't really care for an answer anyway.

~Squeek

PS - Add "Asu e no Brilliant Road" to my list.

Cowboy Bebop - everything, and this is hands down the best anime soundtrack of all time. It's so extremely diverse, and it never comes up short.
FLCL - everything
Escaflowne - anything with chorus/orchestra

"Free Bird" from Haibane Renmei
That piano song from Big O that Dorothy always plays. Plus the ending theme.

And, how could we ever forget
LUPIN THE THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRD
I love the main theme to that show. Which is cool, because comedy anime generally have crappy music, unfortunately.

Lupin, hooray!

Fire Treasure, the opening theme to Castle of Cagliostro rules, too. That, and the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra version of the opening theme.

The only songs that i've actually liked from any anime would be:

Change the World - V6 (Inuyasha)
Kesenai Tsumi - Nana Kitade (FMA)
eX Dream - Myuji (X Tv)
I am - Hitomi (Inuyasha)
Come - Namie Amuro (Inuyasha)
Fukai Mori - Do as Infinity (Inuyasha)

Everything else really hasn't caught my attention.
