And to think I was originally gonna skip this anime due to the first episode.

I'm glad I didn't It's turned out super great.

Especially in that one episode with the one thing and

this.

Also, anyone wanna discuss the massive amount of fan fiction the whole gamagori and underachiver girl is gonna get?

Yea.. that was weird. Although the main 3 girls would be getting fanart like that either way.

Most fun I've had watching anime since I watched Gurren Lagann in 2008 (didn't watch it when it was airing). Kill la Kill doesn't produce the same intense feelings I had when I watched TTGL though, but its close.

Go figure it would be based Trigger that did both of them

i guess based Trigger, but it was more Gainax that did Gurren.

Didn't some Gainax people come to direct some of the big episodes in KLK?

It's definitely the same core group of people and artists. Gamagoori looks very similar to Kittan, and the exaggerated scenes with them are pretty similar. Spirals and shit, etc

Haven't watched the latest ep. I guess I should tho.

My youngest brother is also watching it. I didn't even know he liked anime until like last summer.

fuck it I guess I'll catch up today

edit:
and now Harime Nui finally dies and the scissor blade is complete. They go with onee-chan to defeat their mother in the next 3ep and we live happily ever after.

I have to say this show is extremely predictable and it's been pissing me off all season.

yeah but you know it's going to happen eventually. Maybe not right now because they still have a lot of room to bullshit in, but it's going to happen.

also what the fuck is with Ragyo. Are they trying to imply rape?
