Different Computers
Hi all,
Is it only me that has problems playing FFR on certain computers? I see some people play FFR at school, work, college, and also at home and they get brilliant scores in both places. I on the other hand cant play anymore as the PC i used to perform well on is broken, and the other PC's i cant play well on at all!

Re: Different Computers
I believe flash is more OS dependant than hardware. Drivers could be a possible issue but yeah, as long as you have the right settings to play, it shouldn't be so bad. The best way to figure out would be to make a stability thread with computer specs and fix everyone's lag one by one and add specs to list of lag-free setup or something but I don't see the need since most of the people who had problems eventually fixed it by testing out with standalone or other ways.

Re: Different Computers
I've only ever been able to play well on computers equipped with Windows XP
First and second year of university, I had a Dell laptop with XP that I used to play FFR at both school and at home. Eventually busted that (spilled a can of sprite all over the keyboard and fried the motherboard, oops) and since then, I've bought two more laptops, an HP pavilion and an Asus K50I (equipped with Vista and Windows 7 respectively) Can't pull a decent score out of either laptop...derp |

vista will never be good for ffr ever unless you have some magic rig. W7 though is great for ffr just switch to classic mode and play on flash 9 standalone with game booster

Re: Different Computers
Depends on a few things.
1) Flash Version: FFR runs best on Flash 8/9 2) Processor: Flash is fairly process intensive, more than you think it would be 3) OS: Flash runs best on Windows, specifically XP and 7 if your computer isn't a piece of shit |
