i looked and i didnt see anyother threads

i was wondering how do i take a few pix and make them animated??? like where can i make a loop vid of my own pix for my avitar

Well if you have the images and just need to animated them you could use Photoshop. Use the "save for web" and toggle the "animate" on.

Now as for making the images themselves, you're on your own.

Play around with Photoshop, and if you plan on doing a lot of animated GIFs, consider buying Ulead GIF Animator.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't Adobe Flash handle GIF files?

Search google for a GIF animator. And then you just plug in a seperate picture for each frame, then you're off.

EDIT: Photoshop/imageready is WAY better if you have that, but whatever.

I've made gif animations in Gimp. It's not very easy to use unless if it's a short simple animation that's a few frames at the same speed. You have to spend a lot of time setting speeds if individual frames go at a different speed than the others.
