FGO Bootcamp
One of my main weaknesses is just plain speed. sometimes my fingers just do not move fast enough to hit what I read, which has been a problem of mine for the longest time. Recently got an idea on putting myself through a so-called "bootcamp" for FFR, in which I will play only FGO files for a whole week or so. That also includes me playing files that I usually avoid due to how boring, annoying or aids-infested they are(grind2, A quick death, eclipse(solar), etc.). I started a couple of days ago and I already beat some personal scores of mine(but always forget to SC or save replay...).
But I did save this score: And I got this one yesterday: I really thought I had it... But yeah, thats what im gonna do on my down time for when im not working or occupied with other issues. Sorry im such a shitty player, but as u can see I WANT TO CHANGE THAT.

Re: FGO Bootcamp
Just play a lot, and try not to mash. Mashing will not make you better

Re: FGO Bootcamp
Play songs that have your weaknesses in them. For instance, since I'm pretty bad at jacks, I'll play something like Death Piano to try to improve my speed and stamina.

Re: FGO Bootcamp
Death Piano is the bane of my existence. That shit is so hard lol. If I PA that my stamina just goes down the drain and makes keysmashing not fun. but I mean, Ill give it a few whirls today.
EDIT: I give myself a week for any accomplishment Im trying to achieve. Its a "me" thing.

Well I don't mean whore it for an entire day. I can only play it a few times a day before my arms start to hate me.

Re: FGO Bootcamp
I agree with Asher, It's gonna take more then a week to PA FGO's well.
It could take up to 2 months. I didn't start PAing FGO's untill I played them everyday for 5 months. well anyway, good luck on your endeavors Elijah.

Re: FGO Bootcamp
Okay, so these score are the fruits of my labor for today:
Did better on this by a couple of ranks This file is just hard, but its fun. A lot of parts are tricky though... I cant stand jacks. but I did get the FC... unsure if this is an FGO or not lul Another fun one. bullshit misses though -_____- Hopefully by the end of this week I wont have scores this messy lol but personally I think these are still pretty good. Might play a little more later tonight.

Re: FGO Bootcamp
It's not FGO, but if you want to improve your speed in particular you should play Of Course You Need Me in Dance 2. Couple other good songs for you (FGO) would be Reality (even though it's awkward it'll help your reading) and Betrayal (both in Rock). I don't know how your stamina is either, but good songs for that are Zombie Sunset (Misc) and Slashmaid (Rock again, and Betrayal is actually good for stamina too just sayin').
