Default Ideas for allergies

Ok, so it turns out I have pretty bad allergies... I'm allergic to every type of pollen and weed, and also to dust, so more or less my nose is stuffed and also runny constantly

I have a few allergy medications and nose spray that help a bit for the pollen and weed allergies but the dust is pretty unbearable lol.. So like last night, I also have a cold because it's cold season, I woke up with my nose so dry, it ended up starting a nosebleed and I woke up coughing up blood lol, it was pretty horrible, I had to replace all my pillows and sheets because they were soaked in blood lol, it scared me alot not gonna lie xd

Anyways today I got an air purifier, I cleaned all the dust out of my room, cleaned my desk and blinds, vacuumed etc so I'm hoping it'll be ok

Does anyone else have really bad allergies, and do you have tips to deal with them? I'm contemplating looking for some sort of face mask to sleep with, but ya... Health and fitness lol xd

Getting sick makes allergies worse. I've never had allergies that bad but maybe see your pcp about prescription allergy meds

I am victim to seasonal allergies. During these times my nose becomes stuffy and runny, and I sneeze like 20 times in a row.
As years go by the symptoms become less apperent.
Time is remedial. A tolerance to the seasonal allergies devoloped albeit in my native home of Virginia. I imagine that it could bounce back if I travelled.
Dinglesberry I think the idea of a facemask is good. Also, I would highly recommend doing lung exercise. Breathing in and out as deep as possible for at least 15 minutes a day should yield maximal results. There are more advanced texhniques, too.
xD

Humidifier for when you're sleeping, air purifier all day.

Spicy food in the morning to give a flush to your nasal cavaties. Glass of milk or another viscous liquid that will coat to prevent drying out.

Netty potttttsssssssssss

Lint rollers

That's all I got for now

no i only got them when i was little on a regular basis i think and they worked for a long time; my mom said i might be getting a little of it back because i was sneezing and coughing and i had a runny nose in the spring (we checked and it wasn't a cold i don't think) but it's really minor symptoms either way so i don't want to get more allergy shots unless the symptoms are serious because i want my body's immune system to get stronger

also when i went to israel last year in the late spring, my eyes were stinging a lot so i needed to buy eye drops, but that almost never happens so maybe it's because i was in a completely different place, or because there was a lot of wind (now that i think about it that's probably it), or because i was over 3,000 feet/about 900 meters above sea level; i was in golan heights in israel when it happened and the sign said we were about 3,000 feet/900 meters above sea level

by the way the eye drops REALLY helped :) they were like miracle drops and they completely made the pain go away with just a few drops

For me personally I want shots because I'm on like 2 allergy meds and some pain killers and stuff and all of them are drowsy and I'm just so tired all day, agh

Even after cleaning my room I still woke up at like 3am completely stuffed up so like I don't even know.. I'm gonna research if there's like some big ass face mask type thing I can buy lol like jeez I'm dying xd

Wash your hands every time you touch weed. Sounds silly but it has been a game changer for me, my brother suggested it after having the same problem.

have you tried asking your doctor(s) if there's anything else you can do besides putting on a face mask?

That was a serious suggestion that has actually helped me IRL but ok

I also got an x-ray of my sinuses and discovered that I had chronic sinus infections that caused my allergy symptoms to be super severe. I got a spray for that, I'm not sure if it would be different than the one you are using but it also really helped

Seriously though the hand wash weed thing is the best and easiest suggestion in this entire thread. I went through this around this time last year, I've always had bad allergies but they were getting worse due to
1) my chronic infections and
2) allergic to weed, touching weed constantly, touching everything i own including face after touching weed. not doing that anymore has really helped and also was completely free

Nah it was good advice I didn't mean to seem like I was brushing it off, yea it's like dandelion type weeds but either way the allergies to that stuff is manageable, it just makes my eyes itch and my nose run etc

Dust is the one that's like oof fuk this lolz, also I was researching last night, it's actually possible to be allergic to Marijuana, since technically it's like pollen and stuff so ye she's definitely on to something as well

Realistically speaking I probably am allergic to weed since I'm basically allergic to everything lel, now that it's legal I might perhaps look into seeing if I can do things other than smoke it, the thought of inhaling like, something ur allergic to directly, like lol

You don't have to smoke it lol.

There are a multitude of ways you can obtain the benefits without the harmful smoke.

That being said, I know people that smoke it to clear their allergies and people that smoking makes it worse. Definitely talk to a doctor if over the counter doesn't work

This ended up being the best advice in the thread, well rather the only thing I hadn't tried, so thanks for the suggestion, sorry to joke about it, I was banned but so I couldn't post about it but the next day, I finished breaking up some nugs, sniffed my fingers, and instantly my nose was stuffed like crazy, eyes itchy and watery etc.

I started washing my hands alot more though, probably too much, I ended up deciding to just quit weed though since it wasn't enjoyable for me much anyways.
