Excellent. I remember commenting a bit on the first version of this thread. I've been away for a while now (computer issues), and now that I'm back, I'm seeing what's changed. Since new songs have been added, I was hoping to get more accurate difficulty ratings for them. That or confirmation that their difficulty ratings are accurate. I have no comments about the ratings right now, but wanted to say thanks for making an updated list.

it's as hard as stuff like LLL, dot death, get down so high 4.5 or low5.
k put it in 5 for the length.

around 4.5 to 5 lvs in the list are really vague.

Yeah, I can see that.

Lovely Lovely Lovely and Wish should be 5 IMO and Fantranstic should be 4 (especially if Max Forever is)

Actually, I can combo the jumps and 16th bursts in Hyper Pressure half the time (hell, I've gotten a 300+ combo on it three times now, something I can't possibly do with L3) and can consistently get 900+ perfects that I can't pull off with the likes of Wish because of the jumpy streams, so it's probably not a 5. Maybe a 4.5.

As for Just Died (you can find it in the Hip-Hop section), they actually got it right when they labeled the song "Tricky." Random 16ths crop up from time to time, and there are a couple of 8th jump sections that are hard for me to read, but can combo by mashing. I've managed to FC the second day of playing it (AAed save for 4 boos), so I'd say it's a 3.5.

Edit: Forgot Save Me. If I can remember when the jumps are, this is fairly easy for me to AA, though I'm thinking that an SDG is a bit out of reach. I'd say this is a 3.

Yeah I was wrong before, Hyper's probably 4.5 because of the easy Gamepro patterns.

Yay, a new song of the week!

Carousel Paradise is a song that keeps you on your toes. It seems to me that Alain is trying to fit too many arrows into not enough music. First run I managed a 99 combo but nailed the first 16th burst, but I am just no good at 16th crossovers despite my 4-finger play. I could only break 600K on this one if I go completely INSANE. (Best is about 10K short and that was when I hit a 170 combo.)

Probably a 5 out of 6 because of the weird jumps in the streams and the awkward patterns, combined with the sheer speed.

I'd call Carrousel a definite 5.

Looks like it's time to rate again.

Etude to a Dragon starts out peacefully enough with the 4th jumps, and it's still reasonably difficult in the 16th stream...until jumps start appearing in the second half of the stream. >_< I'd give this a 5 out of 6 because the jumpy stream is that aggravating...it reminded me of Crowdpleaser, but the easy beginning is what knocks it down to 5.

I'd say 4.5 personally, but I'll leave that decision to jimerax when he updates.

carrousel = 5
ETAD = 4.5

yea not much to bother this time.

jumpstream in ETAD is just like a part of silence, but not affect much to the difficulty since its short.
carrousel is 5 just because it's awkward though.

The new song of the moment, "Start Something," is a very interesting beast indeed. (Damn it, I dripped a frozen lemonade on my keyboard and now my period key sticks. At least I still have the decimal point key on the numpad.)

It starts off easy enough with the 8ths, but it soon metamorphoses into triplets with jumps that reminded me of Katz Heavy. But the worst part is most definitely the 32nds. Other than that, it's a pretty straightforward file. Took me about 5 tries to FC because the first time I got one of those popups from Windows urging me to install new security patches. Probably a 2.5 or 3.

Is this FC/PA difficulty, or pass difficulty? Because I just played Crowdpleaser and nearly passed it, and if I can nearly pass something barely below caprice, then I don't think it belongs there.

I personally thought Start Something was harder than RiP because of the fast thing at the end which i couldnt do. RiP is easy FC for me though.

btw just died should definitely be internediate not advanced

Yea it's cause of Tass' awesome work.

btw
Start Something = 4
Resurrection in Progress = 4
3.5 or 4.. they are quite the same level for me lol

SS is very short and easy to pass but has triplets with doubles and 32nds at 140bpm as igot mentioned.
RiP is 4 for short streams with beginning-end jumps at 138bpm, simple pattern though.

also made a little adjustments to the list..
