FFR Rank and GT Rank?
So I haven't been on FFR for months. I returned, excited to enter into the 1k rank only to see my rank as 3,764. I was mad at first but then I noticed that it is my FFR Rank and my grand total rank was still 2,070. Whats the point and difference between these two? Personally I dont like the FFR rank. I liked it when grand total determined a players rank.

Re: FFR Rank and GT Rank?
FFR rank uses average rank
Grandtotal rank uses grandtotal (duh) Avrank is generally considered a better (though not perfect) measure of a player's skill, since grandtotal rank is based more on how much you play than it is how well you play.

Re: FFR Rank and GT Rank?
So it is just the average rank you receive on songs? I was trying so hard to get under 1k but then FFR Rank came along lol.

Re: FFR Rank and GT Rank?
FFR Rank is based on where you place amoung the community on your average level rank, where FFR Grand Total Rank is the old Grand Total Based ranking we've been used to. The FFR rank is more based on skill/completing all the songs, where the GT ranking is based solely on how much you play and how well you combo (cuz combo scoring).
