Apparantly you get the best ending if you beat it with under 30 deaths, although after beating it once with about 50 times that number I imagine that doing so must be next to impossible.
Someone on LUE provided a screenshot of the ending screen with 0 total deaths, but knowing LUE this was probably fake. Besides that, I have heard several people give death counts of 100-200 after several playthroughs. And what happened to you in sector six? 6-4 shouldn't be able to do that to you, especially when compared to 7-3. |

So I decided to play through the first sector or two of this at a friends house. An hour later I had beaten it again.
This game is SO much easier the second time around. |

The game saves automatically at the beginning of each level. You can quit at any time by hitting escape, and come back to the same level later by selecting continue on the window that pops up when you first open Jumper.

On the lower platforms, I take it? Thats were everyone gets stuck on 5-2. Just run to the right off of the side of the falling blocks and do a jump in the air towards the next block, then repeat to get to the exit. You don't jump off these blocks - you run off of them before they fall beneath you and kill your forward momentum.

Ok, on 3-1 for some reason it isn't taking my 2nd jump when I go over through the red lightning and to the right. Anyone know what's up?

When the game doesn't register your second jump, it means that the first jump took place while you were in the air, even if it didn't look like it. This usually happens when either:
1) you jump off of a blue falling block once it has fallen beneath you, so your jump actually takes place in the air, or 2) you take a running jump off of a ledge, and end up jumping just after you aer considered off the edge (the game seems to be really sensitive about this one - its best to jump before any part of Ogmo is off the ledge). |

No, read Kefit's post. It's just that you're jumping in the air, although it can be hard to notice.
