Yes but I will bug you constantly about remembering to make the other chart if you do so.
p.s. consider this advance warning for you Scintill Ugh do I really have to make an email? zzz was hoping everyone could just PM me a link on mediafire/sendspace/file-sharing site of your choice but if you want an email I can make one. If you are going to step Ave Maria step the Bach-Gounod version because the piano backing will give you many more sounds to step. Plus that version is shorter and sounds better IMO Hayley Westenra does a really good job singing it, I'd totally recommend this to step !_! I can totally see a file for this with holds to the vocals and the piano layered alongside it... could be really fun.

Also Reefer Man is a ****in' sexy chart. Scin was kind enough to send it to me so I could see it and I gotta say it makes me instantly want to dl the pack when it's done. But thank you very much for the advice, if anything it's worth my disappointed feeling. I really want to spruce this up and make it really playable since I imagine my issue has been in the past my charts have little replay value. If I don't get around to stepping something else for this, best of luck. |

Re: [4-key Pack] hi19hi19's Non-Stepman Music Pack [Submissions Open]
eyyyy I'm a little late for the party, but here goes (I'll pretty much keep up from here)
Reviews: Transparent World (eiddiM) Already dealt with in terms of song choice. This subgenre could very well be unique in terms of what has been stepped in the past, sure. The problem is that, if I were to hear the music without being told anything about it, I would instantly think "StepMania." I still enjoyed listening to the song, though. The file has major sync issues. They're somewhat masked by the difficulty and unrelenting nature of the harder chart, but if you play through the easier chart and try to tap along with the music, you'll definitely see what I mean. Playing the easier chart felt like a chore, to be honest. Lengthy sections filled with sets of three notes at high speeds aren't particularly easy. In fact, despite the lower note density, I think that type of pattern may be less comfortable for lower-level players than normal stream. Try to relate to when you were a less skilled player. I'd venture to say this kind of chart would not have been your favorite. The main chart has some really nice ideas. I enjoyed the hold usage. Spread-based stream patterns liven things up, though the trickiness might be overkill. The blast beat section near the end is, well, a blast! ba-dum pshhh So the file has some major upsides, but you should revise thoroughly before releasing or submitting to another pack. Reefer Man (Scintill) omfgamazingsongchoice. I wouldn't think to search for this type of music on my own, but once prompted to listen, I'm blown away. The simfile rules. The mines work fine, although I wasn't always sure why there were a bunch of mines in one section and then none in another. The polyrhythm at the very end seemed a bit out of place in terms of difficulty. Overall, both the song and the file put a dumb grin on my face. |

Deciding on whether to step this for the pack.
Poquito Mas by Infected Mushroom (sry wineandbread). Skip to 1:40. Pretty much something we rhythm gamers hear a lot in general, but I feel 'Infected Mushroom' is underrated. Definitely need more charts on their music.
