This is original and fun. Half the people not submitting is simply the nature of FFR tourneys. In about every tournament you see (Including the official ones) the first couple round knock out all the inactive people. So don't sweat it. As discouraging as it may be, it is very much the norm.

Also, as a suggestion you should make/use an alt so people can't see how you got your scores.

Alright. Its been awhile since I'd been in a tourney. I never really paid attention to other eliminations or anything, just the song, score, and whether or not I was below the line of death. Well, that makes things better I guess. But still, having more than half the tourney not participate and get eliminated? I don't think thats the normal ratio... Whatever. It makes it easier for the rest of you guys to get the prizes. Less competition.

FINALLY! Thank you for posting. I've been waiting for someone to do so. I hate double posting. I only do it when necessary because I got the sh*t flamed out of me for it once back when I was but a wee n00b. (Note that the bottom of my last post had a counter for how many times I edited it. I think it got up to 9.)

I was going to say I'll PM everyone about the start of the tourney soon. I'll send results, eliminations, the song/score etc., just not tonight. I'm really not up for it. I'll do it tomorrow night. It won't make too big a difference though anyway, since you've got until the 29th.

i think you should shorten the days too cause if you follow the tourney then you know when its due theres no reason to wait till the last minute and put you in stress

Lawl what month is "FERBRAURY"?jk why dont you just play a few songs played in various ways all on the same day, just save the SS's on you comp, and then post them when the time comes? and are you able to at least tell us the combo you got on the song? good choice of a song by the way

ROUND 4 STARTS MIDNIGHT!!!!!

GOAL IS TO AAA CROWDPLEASER!

No, I lied. Its not Crowdpleaser. The song is Driveway [Heavy]. Again. Choosing it was either brilliant or horrible. If there are huge objections, I'll change it, so don't spend too much time on this until tomorrow when I have a chance to review feedback.

Now instead of having tons of misses and perfects, I've got tons of goods and averages. But I did 50% better than last time for some reason... Anyway, the score is 317,045 ON DRIVEWAY HEAVY.

Lemme know if this sucks d*cks, and if tons of people agree, I'll change it. If this was in fact a horrible idea, well, this being my first tournament makes it a perfect learning experience.

hmm yeah playing the same song again probably isnt the best idea, theres so many songs out there, just choose a new one...but honestly, im fine if it stays like this.

Whatever song it is, I'd probably just play it, get a score, and wait for the next round anyways, so I'm not really too against playing it again. Besides, it still looks like almost all of next round's eliminations are going to be non-submitters anyways.

But then again, it really doesn't make much sense within a tournament to repeat a song for two consecutive rounds... so I guess that while I don't mind playing it again, I'd rather play something different.
