Creating courses

Hey, I've been trying to make some courses on StepMania 3.9 (or is it 3.95?)
and I notice lots of titles like the tortoise and hare, and all sorts, but they aren't on the course list when I enter the mode selection thing.

And after I do make a course and go into them, my specific course with specific options doesn't display correctly or is just not there at alL. (YES I do save.)

Is there something I'm forgetting to do with the courses or is there just some bug with all of that stuff? I'm even allowed to change the options during the courses, which I shouldn't be able to do, it's supposed to be fix. What's up with courses and how do they work ?__?

I don't play courses (I don't really think that anyone does), so I can't help you.

I'm trying to make a modded course for 3.9 and i can't get the mods to switch!! WTF?!?

say im playing bang, and it starts out normal. then when the first note hits, I want it6 to go to 500% beat and 150% drunk... How do i do that
