Call of Duty: Black Ops

I was looking into Black Ops and most likely will not buy or rent it. I love zombie mode, but standard TDM gets boring incredibly fast. I like to have more variety in my FPS games.

Also I'm expecting half of the Modern Warfare 2 community to move over to Black Ops, so I won't be surprised to see everyone ramboing. Teamwork in Modern Warfare 2 is nonexistant, which is one of the many reasons why I stopped playing it.

I've never had a single problem with people with Commando, and I haven't used that perk in ages personally. Too many people cry about dumb **** in the game. I get called a noob for being the host so I didn't have any "game delay", and even for using flash bangs =/

I just personally hope there aren't going to be any tubes. That and ARGUABLY akimbo G18's caused way to much imbalance. I know I just said people need to cry less but I don't think it's very hard to look at tubes and understand they are OP as ****ing hell. Also I think if the FAMAS is going to be an automatic weapon, it'll be nerfed in some way shape or form from the MW2 version probably in strength and accuracy.

black ops is gonna be awesome

This is why they are having a beta. So they can get rid of stuff like this. Just hopefully they act on it instead of letting be like stupid IW did.

there is a faster ads for a sniper rifle, but you need the pro attachment for iron lungs, or something, rather than sleight of hand. i thought that was pretty... weird.

there don't seem to be perks that are blatantly overpowered, though. i like the fact that lightweight, sleight of hand, and marathon can be implemented into a class, since they're all in their own perk category. the downside is that marathon and ninja are in the same one! and i can't live without marathon ninja D:

the two perks that i'm worried about are hardline pro and second chance (last stand equivalent huhu). the fact that you can get a 2nd roll for care packages with the hardline pro attachment, even if it is a 5 killstreak now, is still kiiiiiiiiiiiind of stupid.

also, for the commando whiners, ballistic knife looks like it maybe might be a pain, kinda sorta :ssh:

Black ops beta files was leaked online not long ago, if you have a JTAG just go hunt for them.

latest news I just found out is that no matter what game mode you play there will be a final kill cam. Like in Demolition it will show the last kill registered in the game now.

Great! I've always wanted to see this feature added to MW2. Now we'll have it in Black Ops.

Sorry for not following the war as much as some people. In my defense I couldn't remember which one it was.

Anyway, I'm ultimately happy with the way they've categorized their perks. Probably more about skill at the game than about having better perks than the next guy.

It's only one of the defining moments of our generation.

Anyway, I might rent Blops before buying it. I signed back on to MW2 after about a year of not playing and it simply infuriating. I was the lowest ranked player in all of my games and never scored more than 7 kills in a match due to superhumans with across the map knife-range and incredible speed.

As the folks at Penny-Arcade said, there's not a goddamn modern thing about stabbing 25 people on a high-tech battlefield and then being rewarded with a nuke for it.

'cause as long as I know, no iranian terrorist attack has ever occured in US.

2 years is enough time IMO.
Game is looking pretty good, hope there will be no exploits like OMA noob tubes or anything. I really want no noob tubes or AT LEAST no scavenger perk when using noob tubes.

Ah, no even if I were correct, I wouldn't be calling all Iranians terrorists. Not even all Iraqis are terrorists anyway. Sorry for the confusion :P

I agree that TDM gets boring, that's why I always play FFA. THAT's where you find most of the bulls**t.
