Why is Trigun called Trigun? When I first heard about it, I thought it would be about some guy with a triple-barrel blaster or something.

Yea that's what I thought too. It's actually pretty good though. Since everyone else is...
1)FLCL 2)DBZ (because it was the first anime I really got into) 3)Sailor Moon (because it was the first anime I ever saw; I probably wouldn't be so into Japanese culture if not for this) That "Case Closed" show on Adult Swim looks good too.

I think I figured out the meaning of "Trigun".
Gun #1 = Revolver. Gun #2 = Hidden Semi. Gun #3 = World Destruction. That makes three guns. Eh? EH? Thought so. ~Squeek |

Yeah, but I thought there would be some kinda metaphorical meaning to it. Like, I heard there was some kinda symbolism of the 7 Sins in the show.

meh i didnt like tenchi all that much. half the time, he was gettin whooped, and the other half was basically him vs the girls... there were a few times when he wtf0wned like a pimp, like when he went up to that evil girl in the weirdass dimension, had his sword out, looked like he was about to fight... and...
bitchslapped her! that was kickass. |
