Re: Legacy standalone
What Bethany described is reformatting your computer. If you're talking about the 'System Restore' program in accessories, that's something different. It basically 'resets' your computer back to the way it was at another point in time. From what I know, it doesn't actually reset EVERYTHING; it more or less only affects programs you installed, your registry, and all that good stuff.
When you install programs (or windows updates), your computer creates a 'Restore Point' so that if something goes wrong you can go back to where you were. You basically just choose a restore point and tell it to go back to then. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...sked-questions |

Re: Legacy standalone
tried using system restore on 3 different restore points, didn't do anything except make it so my firefox won't ever work, even when I re download it. I probably need a new computer, I really hope that isn't the case because I'm poor as hell. I got this computer for free though. I really hope I can fix it, I was just starting to AAA master songs and such
Edit: does anybody know how to optimize my bandwith or get to it to begin with? Last edited by Jerry DB; 02-3-2012 at 12:25 AM.. |
