Default Have you seen THIS while browsing FFR?

I get this very often while browsing FFR. The text is annoying enough, but it's one of those things that, unless you end it via a method like Task Manager, will never go away and eventually force you to download a fake Virus Prevention Program.

My computer is acting kind of funky now, by the way. Perhaps it's paranoia, or perhaps I caught something malicious from FFR...
Gah.

For starters, your not logged in, so you will get pop-up ads like that .
Other than that, it's not really a bug, it's an ad that everyone probably has at least seen once, I have a pop-up blocker, so even if I did not have Elite Supporter and ads came to me, I wouldn't catch it.

Whenever I get those kind of pernicious pop-ups, I just close the browser ASAP.

Maybe ads are getting really sophisticated...but I doubt you caught a virus unless you yourself OK'd the install of a 'Virus Prevention Program'.

And uhh yeah, why aren't you logged in? o_O

I probably didn't catch anything, but it's just annoying that it could be a possibility if you don't respond appropriately to a would-be deceptive ad for lots of people. I just feel you shouldn't have to be logged in as a subscriber to avoid these types of ads.

I was browsing the top 1000 overall ranks on FFR a couple weeks back(before subby) and something similar popped out, my browser started to become extremely slow and the annoying popup would keep coming. I did a virus check with Malwarebyte (Passive, you should use it if you think you caught something), it said my computer had a browser-hijacker/trojen virus and it deleted it. I'm not sure if it came from an ad on FFR or something, but that's my tale :P

It's because you don't have adblock plus that blocks every ad on the internet.
