Can anyone tell me how to be a better TWG player?

Besides getting some form of instant messaging service, I mean.

The thing is, I seem to have a very hard time deceiving people. As one hypothetical example, if I was a wolf, it would be extremely hard for me to maintain an innocent semblance, especially if I open my mouth a little too much.

So I figured, besides experience, getting hints from other people would be the best way to step up my game past the "Complete Dumbass" level. (By the way, I want to hear only from those who have survived a game. What did you do to stay alive? How did you convince everyone else that you were not a wolf? What...aww, you get the picture.)

The reason I ask for hints instead of reading other TWGs is almost the same as the difference between seeing a play in a playbook and watching a team execute that play. Watching the players only shows me the result of carrying out that play (with widely varying results), but I would prefer to look at the play itself to see how effective it really is.

you don't really need to survive to make a difference. I'd rather die and make an impact in the game than go through it unharmed. Team effort.

also: being a good liar and having a way with words are good skills, I suppose. Setting up a faux scenario with faux background info and feeding it to other players in order to get your way is pretty much what this game is about. It's all about how well you can keep your lie up, or how well you can prove the truth.

TWG isn't the GB. Creating threads should be used with caution.

(But the funniest part of this joke is that the title used to be "Can anyone tell me how to be a better wolf?" It was changed by a mod to not make it look like a wolf was committing indirect suicide. Which is why this was so funny in the first place, the help he asked for only got him killed.... noob XD)
