One Million Number Challenge [Round 1]
25thhour & rzr’sOneMillionNumberChallenge!
ROUND 2 WILL START ON MARCH 8TH AND LAST UNTILL APRIL 8TH Introduction – Some of you may remember back to 25thhour’s thread about how he was going to try and write every number between 1 and a million and I suggested he make it a contest. Well, we’ve put a bit of thinking into it and came up with our way for it to actually become a contest! Don’t worry, you’ll have all the materials needed. Well, if you don’t you shouldn’t have a computer. *laughter* Syntax – It won’t be that hard to do this, but it will take a fair bit of endurance. When it comes down to it, how badly do you want these prizes? What you’ll do is write out every number up to one million, or at least as far as you can go. There will be one main round which will last from February 2nd 12:01 AM - March 1st 11:59 PM. In this round most of the credits/subbies will be given away. After the first month we will keep hosting them every month with prizes if we can keep the pot above zero. Materials – Get a pen and paper. All the numbers must be seperated by commas. Procedure- 1 Write out the numbers 2 Make sure they are seperated by commas 3 Get a camera 4 Put the paper(s) next to your computer screen 5 Open the time and date display (if you do not have admin rights simply put the cursor over the time and a small box will pop up supplying us with the information) 6 Take the picture with the numbers and your user name and the time and date all displayed visibly in the image 7 Post it in this thread Prizes – I’ll throw 15,000 credits in. Donations/Donators – • 500 000! tofurox • 1 6 month, 2 3 month subbies Saik0Shinigami • 15,000 25thhour • 10,000 rzr • 10,000 BOSS pjpaveloffga Total: 535 000 Credits! let break that 750k barrier. Winners get- Month One 1st - 150k Credits & 6 month Subscription Winner - Jump_the_bullet 2nd - 50k credits - VOID MOVED TO NEXT MONTHS PRIZE 3rd - 25k credits - VOID MOVED TO NEXT MONTHS PRIZE 4th - 15k Credits - VOID MOVED TO NEXT MONTHS PRIZE 5th - 5k credits - VOID MOVED TO NEXT MONTHS PRIZE Month Two 1st - 150k credits & 3 month Subscription 2nd - 50k Credits 3rd - 30k Credits 4th - 20k Credits 5th - 15k Credits Total so Far: 510k/535k Credits and 9/12 months of subby. Please send all donations to 25thhour. Re: One Million Number Challenge Tournament
Lol this is really funny. I'm going to approve this; but this should really only be one round with as many credits as you can get as the prize. Doing this more than once will totally deplete prizes and will just become boring.

Re: One Million Number Challenge Tournament
dude the max anyone can do in a day is about 43000 (that is working the whole 24 hours, at 2 numbers a second.) nobody can do it that fast for a whole 24 hours, and you will eventually get to a time when you cant even do 1 number a second bcause of the length so realistically, starting this tourny you might e able to get 20,000 a day, later on in this tourny, we'll be lucky to get 10k a day, and that will only be if somone is extremely into it...this contest is going to go on for months....

Re: One Million Number Challenge Tournament
On a side note:
I have issues with writing on paper (hence why I'm allowed to use a computer for all in class writing assignments) can I type my 1-1mil? If not I could get my friends to do it, but I have hands that cramp like, 10 minutes into writing anything, so yeah...I actually think typing it will take longer due to the location of the number keys in comparison to just writing them but it's up to you I could write if I have to, I'll just die in the process

Re: One Million Number Challenge Tournament
Well If someone gets like 70k in the first week I'll know that they started before so the number that they reach will pretty much tell on em.
