Yeah, I also remember when Rondo V2 was an FGO and when Libertine was a 9.
I also even more fondly remember fixing all those crappy meaningless ratings. ps - CIA Rave was FMO, not FGO.

Was this when there was just Blue Note songs, like 2002 / 2003?

Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
Ratings will naturally change as more and more people get better at the game.
It's not so much that it was "messed up", it's just that expectations weren't so high. Also - there were less songs as well which meant the ratings were based on what songs there was. At one point FotBB / CIA Rave etc were seen as hard because they were hard at the time for a lot of people. |

Some were screwed up the other way, too.
Caprice was a 10 for ages, and that was WITH avmisses. EHHS was released as a 10. Crowdpleaser was released as a 9 or something. XD

Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
I think it was in 2004, because that's when I started playing. Bubbleman Stage Theme used to be rated Very Difficult, I laughed so hard at that. xD
Alpha Helix, Breaking the Common, and Secret Zombie Room were also all rated Difficult. But at least that is somewhat more understandable due to the lack of 1337 people at the time and the fact that those songs are somewhat... difficult (for newbies). |

Re: Who here remembers the good ole days...?
I remember Rubix's hour long description on how he did something in Chrono Trigger even with 0-framers.
