Pad to Keyboard
All right, I made a thread about this 6 months ago, but it has flaming, and it is confusing, and stuff like that. So I'm making this thread with a slightly different question.
Does anybody know how to made a computer recognize DDR arrows as keyboard arrows? I want to try DDR on FFR. Someone gave a link to a program, but it required knowledge of some sort of code or something. So, I'm asking for a link to a program that does this, and directions on how to use the program. Oh, and this could go in 3 different boards, so I just picked Chit Chat. Thanks, -daniel |

He wants to use his DDR pad to play FFR or SM. I wouldn't recomend it for FFR, but go ahead for SM. Also, I have no idea about the link... sorry.

Search for a driver taht lets you use a Playstation controler as a joystick. Then set it in some type of joystick type thing in your control panel -- change it to "Playstaion Analog". Or Maybe it was digital. I forget. Then go into SM, find the controls changing thing in Options, and press the pad buttons as secondary keys.
That sounded confusiong and ambiguous. But before anything, get a Playstation 1 to Serial Port converter cable. Then the driver. Then SM configuration. Then Voila. It doesnt work for FFR.
