I'm going to get it, rumor has it that in January there will be another version of the Ps3. 800$, right now XBOX360 has a 5.1 graphics processor, PS3 has a 5.3. As I was saying the new one will be 800 and it will have a 5.5 graphics processor. There would be no game for that kind of processor can dish out. 5.1 to 5.3 is a big difference, 5.5 is unimaginable. I dought there will be 1, and i am not going to spend that much anyway. Call of Duty 3 online, best ever.

Dude, the games come with a set graphics resolution.

There would be no reason to release a better version. Two things would happen, either the games would look the same because they would have to be backward compatable.

Or players with older version couldn't play the game

PS3 will always be the same until Sony makes it smaller a four or five years from now. And even then, the graphics hardware won't change.

So, Kotaku this morning is LOADED with news articles from TV news, newspapers, etc. regarding people waiting in line for this.

Normally, having people wait in line for days or even weeks before your console launches is a good thing, right?

Not for Sony. Almost everyone questioned on every single news article said "I'm getting it to re-sell it."

There have been some people in North Carolina who are doing the exact same thing as the Japan launch: getting homeless people to wait in line for it.

It's pretty horrible. But in the end, this is the exact thing I've been saying ever since I heard about the launches.

lol, ebaying them, i wouldn't buy one knowing i could get a used car for the price of two of them. Oh well, perhaps AFTER they cut down the price and start launching really awesome games, people would wanna keep them. Just watch, i bet celebrities are going to get some, play them, then the media will say: Such and Such has bought a PS3 and is loving every minute of it.

Same goes for the wii, but it will be more like: Something County has the most Wiis ever sold in the States.

Yes. Sony can burn. I cant sxtand those stuck up rich morons that seem to think that if you pay a lot for a system it will be good no matter what. i hope the expenses for the ps3 cause sony to bomb on the market and go bankrupt. i would be very happy. i hope the wii's seel out everywhere and i hope those idiots who get ps3's buy a wii and sell their crappy piece of expensive poop, to settle for a cheaper gold.
