Re: "LUNIA starts Grand Open Beta on July 31st"
Eh, one more day.
A huge crowd of people liked this before. I'm surprised no one from the old topic has posted here, even if it's just to say they'll be playing. Quote:

Re: "LUNIA starts Grand Open Beta on July 31st"
So have they released the other classes?
I remember liking it while I played it, but I didn't play for very long and figured it'd be better once they release the other classes. =\

Re: "LUNIA starts Grand Open Beta on July 31st"
I'm pretty sure they'll be adding at least a bunch of stages, if not the classes.
If they don't, they'll probably release the classes as the beta goes on. That or make them unlockable or...something :/ Wow, unlockable isn't a word? Okay. It isn't according to Firefox, but then again, 'okay' isn't either.

Re: "LUNIA starts Grand Open Beta on July 31st"
Hmm, it's difficult to describe it better than the picture. It is, as the picture says, an action arcade RPG. You start off in town, and you click a button to teleport to the stage of your liking. The way the stages are setup is kinda like Super Mario Bros., where you see all of the stages on the map and progress and you go. But when you get to the map, you are put into real-time battle with monsters. You whack them, cast spells on them, etc. until they die(which doesn't take long). It will find a party for you with people who are on the same stage as you, or it will allow you to make one of your own.
Basically, you progress in the game and level while finding items and learning new spells. The spells and items are pretty cool and stuff. You get skill points but not attribute points I don't think, to put into skills as you level. Every once in a while there's a level where you can't put anything useful in, so you may end up saving up. The bosses are really fun to fight. Every boss I've run into has dropped "boss sets", and every person who participated in the boss fight gets a piece of it as soon as the boss dies. It's kinda like Maplestory, except a whole lot more variety, less training at the same monster, quicker killing, a little more fast-paced, etc. Since it is real-time fighting, you can combo things into spells, juggle enemies, etc. Most non-boss enemies can be juggled. It is hard to explain how fun it is without playing it, but the variety of the stages is great and makes it really enjoyable. The site's probably filled with people trying to download right now. I'm gonna wait to download it overnight because it'll probably be faster that way.

Re: "LUNIA starts Grand Open Beta on July 31st"
It might be good and it might suck.
The first release of the game was terrible. In about two days, we had level 20 people farming the 2-10 boss for the best items they could have and people with full sets of those items fairly quickly. I never understood how, seeing as the lag was unbearable to play through. Regardless, I may play this again and I may not. If I do, I'll go Healer again because every other class sucks =D |

Re: "LUNIA starts Grand Open Beta on July 31st"
A healer will be needed in every party, but a lot of people play them.
But really, I couldn't imagine trying to solo 2-10 alone with anything but a healer. Healers can solo, but not terribly well after a little while.

Re: "LUNIA starts Grand Open Beta on July 31st"
The game supposedly opened 23 minutes ago, considering it says "July 31st(EST). It's 23 after midnight in Eastern Time.
EDIT: Someone uploaded a US mirror here. It supposedly averages 1MB/s dl on most computers where people would otherwise get about 80KB/s. I haven't even tried putting it in my address bar, to be honest.
