This is for you AJ.
I guess Im not a stamina player anymore ;-;
This was the single most impressive day of ITG i've had to date. I had a friend over, which provided all the competition I needed to pull this stuff off. I didnt do much stamina today, opting instead for the popular SPEEDCOOOOORE folder. I played 3 14's in a row. The best one? The last one in the set. Disobey and Die... 210 BPM, tons of stream, and some awkwardly timed stuff in the middle. Also the only one I got a vid of. First one of the set of 3? Bloodstorm. 245bpm(fast as hell on foot). tons of bursts/drills/ and a couple long streams in the end. Vid of chart 2nd one? Sacred. 224bpm, lots of super fast drills, and a bunch of bursts all over the place. vid of chart Also I made it to 1:35 in A Kidney Stone (210bpm, streams everywheeeere) I LOVE when people watch me/ comment on what they think so do leave a post if you have time. Thanks :3

Re: This is for you AJ.
Nice pass on Disobey or Die -- you definitely hauled ass in the larger stream. You're getting there, man
When it comes to footspeed, you definitely should put that on backburner. Footspeed is useless if you don't have stamina, because when you get battered with really fast patterns, your willpower and stamina will keep you in form. If you have no stamina, footspeed files are hell because you'll only be able to do things in short bursts. I've been meaning to work on my stamina but I haven't played at all in the past six months (I'll get it back fast once I start again, though). There's a reason why the three 16s I have are all short blips of footspeed (Mundian to Bach Speedcore has short 250 runs, Cairo Nairo has slightly more extended runs at 246.5 BPM 16ths, and Astrofalcon has some really short 249 BPM runs) -- if I were to work on stamina, I know I'd be able to pass 17s, because I have really tight form and really don't waste energy moving around. Here's an old video back from NJ when I was cold -- it was like my third song of the day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PIpKme7Le4 Also keep in mind: the pads aren't modded at all. A lot of top tier players have some sort of modded pads to play on. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 02-19-2013 at 09:22 AM.. |
