Default Boo On Every Arrow

So I used to be really hardcore about ffr in 2006ish.... and I heard that it recently came back up.

When I try to play in any browser (tried firefox, IE, chrome, all the latest version to my knowledge, also adobe flashplayer version 10), I can successfully choose and load a song and click on the screen to make sure it has focus.

Then the arrows start to scroll up. No matter what arrow key I hit or when I hit it, I get a boo. I miss every single arrow no matter which arrows I press or when, and the arrow keys are clearly registerring, because they always give me a boo.

This is really aggrevating to me.... I just found out one of my favorite games ever is back online and I can't hit a single arrow now. xD If anyone has any ideas, please let me know as soon as possible.

Also, I already cleared my cache, tried 3 different browsers open independently, tried different songs in different categories, and tried restarting my computer and browsers.

Thanks a bunch in advance for any information you have regarding this problem.

Set the speedmod to something ending in a multiple of .05, and then use the button to apply it

What is your speed mod set to? Make sure it is Ending in a 0 or 5. Example: 1.50 or 1.75

Edit: Ninja'd

Along with what they said, also make sure to click "Set Speed" or it won't activate.

Yeah, it's even conceivable that "Set Speed" is "the button".

it kind of worries me that people will come back, see ffr is back, play it and be unable to play for an inconceivable reason
couldn't the game be updated to automatically set speed if it's not properly set?

No, That would make to much sense. We all must really like seeing this kind of thread.

I've mentioned that to NSane a bunch of times...it should really not be that hard to do that. Just a simple conditional. Or so you'd think....
