Imgur's being a butt so no SS this time

Also, theres a nasty floating snail glitch at the beginning of level 2, please disregard it

ENGINE
Game now pauses when out of focus
Can no longer kill enemies when suffering from knockback
Adjusted Tyrone's hitbox
Fixed collision box on floating platforms
Moving Platforms can now potentially crush Tyrone for instant death

GRAPHICS
Time trial star graphics are always lined up now.
Version number now showed on level select screen

LEVEL
Modified parts of the lower half of jungle janks
Extended Jungle Janks. This level should be finished next update.

Hub world displays best time per stage

Save game support added. Can save, load, and delete save data in hub world

Resolution lowered without cost of visible space
[mainly for future compatibility with the Scirra Arcade]

LEVEL
Added a hub world to replace level select. Still bland.
Fixed a clipping issue in Tyrone Origins
Adjusted end section of Jungle Janks

Game Over reworked
- will reset to hub automatically

So, after many attempts I think this is about as optimized as level one can possibly be done in. I had a few 33s before this, but I knew 32 had to be possible if you got it, Tea. Edit: I read your 34 as a 32. Woops. The only possible area I can imagine would be the very end. Maybe without some clipped jumps, ceteris paribus, but that's gonna be a really high 31. May try for it another time. Now to try and figure out 1-2.

Damn, 31 is really tight, got only a 32 run that was pretty close to optimal.



I really like how retarded is the interaction of running with jumping and stomping.

and something keeps randomly fucking killing me in level 2 and that never happens during pre-publish testing. I have no clue what's causing it either.

as it turns out, the sections where im killed at are the sections the platforms originally spawn at. Stranglly, the hitboxes are still actually moving and functioning as they should, but where they originally spawned it leaves a sort of "ghost" hitbox. What maxes the matter worse is it's just not even consistent when it happens, its like completely random whether or not it does this, so im not really sure how to go about fixing it or if it's just fucked

SO I JUST PATCHED IT AND IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING.

Hopefully no more random deaths. Try it out

also there's a pause button now. feel free to abuse it it doesnt effect time trial either

And patched again to fix time trial issue with Jungle Janks. Jeez that place has all kinds of problems

So I just got a 1-1 run without clipping a platform which is the only conceivable place to save time at and it was still a 31. I am 99% certain you cannot get 30 on this level starting to run the level right when it loads. There could be some wait time at the beginning to manipulate the positions of the objects within the level and perhaps you can get 30 that way, but that's pretty abusive.

Time for a level shouldnt record unless time trial star is touched
Time should not be displayed at end of level if time trial not started
Dying during a time trial will invalidate the time trial
Time duplicate glitch fixed
Preloader now loads audio, so sound shouldnt be delayed
