JamLegend
I don't know if it's been posted here before, but anyways, JamLegend is a fairly new music game, pretty much an online version Guitar Hero and Rock Band. You can either play with a GH/Rock Band guitar or just use your keyboard. Keymapping is also supported.
There are also a couple of different features included, such as the option of playing against a computer (it's not very challenging if you are accustomed to rhythm games), achievements, a scoreboard based on points, live multiplayer and more. Two different modes of playing are also used; you can play with strumming, as you would do in GH/Rock Band, as well as playing without strumming. Try it out! http://www.jamlegend.com Last edited by tangomango; 05-28-2009 at 06:07 PM.. |

Re: JamLegend
Yay for a game with no quality option that whenever I get a combo thing it lags and I miss
I'll try on my brothers computer, taking records would be cool but I hate odd number key rhythm games sooooo Last edited by [TeRa]; 05-16-2009 at 09:44 PM.. |

Re: JamLegend
Pretty fun, but i think it is for people with guitar hero or rockband guitars. Its kind of cheap to play with keys, and i personally prefer my arrows going up instead of down.
Its FUN though Last edited by DevilsTouch; 05-24-2009 at 06:02 AM.. Reason: fixed |

Re: JamLegend
Looks very fun.
Recommend any hard charts ?_? EDIT: played a bit. I find the cb window pretty tight. Need some practice to get used to it Last edited by leonid; 05-27-2009 at 08:42 AM.. |

Re: JamLegend
Hmmm, the interface looks a bit different, but it's a nice feel. Doesn't play too badly on my computer either. Maybe I'll hook up a Rock Band Guitar and see.
The charts don't look that great though--just looks like random notes placed to follow the guitar rhythm rather than the pitch. Could be that specific song I played though. |

Re: JamLegend
Me as well.
It also stuck me when i realized "Hey...Its like im playing air guitar, only nerdier..." Joking aside, It would be a pretty good game if they added some decent songs and synced it.

The beat jam charts are pitch relevant, but the rhythms are questionable. Eh, it's kind of fun nonetheless now that I've given it a few plays.

Re: JamLegend
I cant pass Spit In Your Grave. I'm getting annoyed by the 123123123123 234234234234 456456456456456 things that go really fast somewhere in the song. I'm hitting all of it and it is giving me misses.
EDIT: Yeah I fail at 3:00 in the song EVERY DAMN TIME. THIS GAMES ENGINE DOESNT LET YOU HIT THOSE! edit2: I just passed it by tottaly not even trying hit any notes at 3:00 and it worked. Last edited by thechild; 05-28-2009 at 04:51 PM.. |

Re: JamLegend
I tried it out yesterday, thought it was kinda fun, though I only played one song. I think it's a decent game to go play if you get annoyed at FFR or something else.
