since everyone is confused on how I did the layering in Kirlian Shores, let me explain.

First 8 measures: acoustics layered with other guitars. If you're confused with the hands, listen carefully. Those are slightly louder.

The rest: Bass drum hits are left notes. The ride cymbal is a down note, and if it holds, a down hold. Snares are jumps, and if there is a jump, there must be a snare. So sometimes when bass and cymbal overlap, I needed to listen to which one came in louder, and use the louder note as a single for the sake of consistency.

Is that more clarifying?

the mines in sin are amazing ur just bad wow
mines aren't just for decoration u know bro
also the freezes only go to one instrument and its pretty obvious but i do have a taste for freezes C:

ps i dont really see whats wrong with minifreezes in general unless they're just spammed all over every background fuzz and melodies that are obvious without them. IMO on whooshes, open hi-hats, crashes, little popping noises, and set-apart instruments they can be rly cool. everyone's always like "stop using minifreezes" tho @_@

IMO you guys should just make the judges forum visible to the public, i don't see why judging has to be secret -.-
