Help Decide

Long story short: My friend neobludragon and I were having a discussion about the song Endless Altercation and we came to a disagreement. neo thinks that the song should be rated a very challenging due to the fact that it has some tricky parts to combo in the middle, harder than most challenging songs. I on the other hand believe it shouldn't be considered a very challenging due to the fact it isnt as difficult as songs such as Nova Pulser, Balloon Fever, Monstrous Turtles... etc. Your opinions will help settle our dispute, thanks ^.^

It's Challenging. It's got some tricky jumpstream, but I would say that it's no harder than {Blaze}, Robotix, AAA (the song), or Brain of the Moon, etc.

Very Challenging? So it's on par with Chlorophyll, Vertex BETA, and {Rose}? I don't think so.

As an aside, Tass does a pretty good job rating the songs, and if he's ever unsure usually he takes input from the users. Note in this case he did not ask for user opinions.

IMO, i believe it should remain a challenging. It is a high challenging due to the tricky parts, but overall, you play it, and... it just doesnt feel like a VC. the BPM isnt as speedy as regular VC's, and plus, the patterns are easy when you learn them. it doesnt take much effort to get past the song.

it's definitely a challenging, fyi.

. jimerax and i generally discuss anything that i'm unsure about, or if he disagrees with something i've rated. i also tend to ask input over AIM from some people i trust as well, if i ever am unsure between two difficulties for a song.

i'd say what i decide stays the difficulty about 98% of the time, if not more. i'm pretty accurate and thorough. baring things like the avmiss fix, which is completely changes the difficulty of many songs.

as jx said, any future difficulty issues or suggested changes should go in the Difficulties sticky.
