Apparently you can double your total earned by selling/buying/selling/buying/etc. until you're out. It may have been changed this patch though, I know Orteil said he was going to update the way it calculated how many chips you'd get so that you couldn't explot it this way. I'm currently leaving my window really small and off to the side so I can easily get golden cookies. Going to try for 100 of everything before I reset.

Once the Golden Cookie disappears, a new one will appear in 5-14 minutes.

5-14 minutes (guaranteed)
upgrade puts it at 2.5-7
then another one makes it 85 sec ~ 3.5 min

I do better without the grandmapocalypse because I have an uncanny knack for getting ruins and clots, way more often than the percentages say they would. Despite there being a 28.99% chance of getting "Lucky," I've only had lucky once, and more than 10 ruins and clots. If you have terrible luck like me, stay away.

1.7 Quadrillion all time cookies.
Working towards all of the upgrades again.

Didn't use any scripts because I'm still Mac-illiterate and can't figure out how to use them. Decided just to keep the game clean without them.

Alright. If you want to really get cookies fast. Elder Pledge. ALWAYS. ELDER PLEDGE. Get to 77 golden cookie clicks as fast as you can. Once you do that. You can get Get Lucky, causing golden cookies to have their effects last twice as long. With this upgrade, you can now get Frenzy, 7x production, for 154 seconds, and lucky, which is 10% of current cookies or 20 minutes of cookies, with frenzy still active. Both those effects are extremely common. Figure out how many cookies you'll get for 20 minutes of cookies, and then 7x it. You MUST have 10x this amount in your bank at all time, to gain max from a frenzy/lucky combo. I have 29B CPS and get over 200T every 5 minutes or so with luck. Only downside is having to keep around 2Q in my bank, and the number increases with each purchase.

...basically. Golden Cookies are the very best cookie maker in the game.
