A game from Gpotato...I don't expect much out of this game.

Re: Best ********en Game Ever.
Can't download on here but I might download once I am back in the USA in a week. Doesn't look bad for a free-game.

The game, well, it looks nice, but it isn't very fun to play after a little while. I know I do a lot of things by first impression, but, you know, I played through a few levels and things weren't really changing at all, even when I got new weapons and stuff. People supposedly, no matter what level they are, use the level 7 car, and it only takes like an hour to get to level 7. So really, it isn't going anywhere unless it makes a huge change. Space Cowboy sure isn't "horribly bad".

It's ok. It's pretty much Twisted Metal/Auto Assault/Vigilante, only its all online. It's pretty fun for a while, but i got sick of it the first week.

Re: Best ********en Game Ever.
I actually downloaded this today. It's got reasonably good graphics (aside from the occasional rendering problem) and looks like it has potential, but I found two major problems with this game:
- First off, the "sync bug," as it is referred to on the Official Forums, completely screws up the system. During the race, cars are going all over the place, "teleporting" from one place to the next, quite literally skidding along the track at a speed unachievable in the game, driving backwards, etc. I apparently lag horribly (though of course, my game shows no problems) and have been called a "hacker" on several occasions in six hours. The GPotato team is working on this, but they better figure it out soon, or people are going to stop playing. - Two, there just isn't enough variation in the game to make it fun. Yes, there are around twenty-four well-done tracks, but the gameplay quickly gets boring. There are a few modes: one, you can play "Strike Racing," which is a circuit track with weapons galore and the main mode. Unfortunately, the lag problem makes this amazingly frustrating. There is also regular Racing, which is the same thing, but with weapons turned off. It doesn't lag as terribly as Strike Racing, but still has significant problems. In either mode, you're able to "team" with buddies or people you don't know and share the glory and Light, the game's version of Experience Points. However, this can be quickly made unfair with the people of higher levels all on one side, and otherwise is a remarkably similar experience to the regular game. Fun for the first few hours, but don't kill your week on it. ~ SS7 P.S.: If anyone's interested, you can message me there under the name "vpi".

Re: Best ********en Game Ever.
Eh, I recorded stuff on it with perfect FPS, and it was rare that someone would go flying off like that, but a few would due to lag.
I'll post them when I get around to uploading stuff.

Re: Best ********en Game Ever.
Yeah, ahaha, and then I got rammed. I wanted to leave that part in there.
He didn't even get hit by a missile, he hits this mine right before the finish line, ROFL. Watch when I'm about to finish the race, I dodge a mine at the end. That's the mine he gets hit by.
