Default in the groove epic fail :('''

for those of you who play itg let me explain this. i just thought i had to tell you guys.

we have an itg group that goes there all the time. we can all play 15's and some 16's. one of the members became a dick and we didn't want to deal with him anymore, so we stopped talking to him. he told the managers of the arcade that people use the usb port to get free credits. so they removed the usb ports on the machine. :'( Now we're forced to play 13s. no more custom

Go to the arcade manager and show them that there's nothing you can possibly do to make the USB ports to hand out credits. >_>;

That ex-member is a ***, by the way. People like that don't deserve to play ITG.

We do that at another arcade we play at.

I know our arcade managers here are total idiots. They have no idea what's going on with the pad and the machine.

I can already star Pandy >.< It's such a boring song!

The only problem is, the ex-member is hella pro. He's competing for top in the U.S. right now and he's been my best bud for hella years. He got a new gf and turned into super dick and the girl he's dating is 14, he's turning 21.... Like dude... come on now... He does 16's and 17's like w/e. He stars most 16's and gets about 85% on 17's. >.<

And yes, i've showed the manager that the USB port cannot hand out credits. He was like, "well people are getting free games from this." and showed me a video of people doing the penny trick and getting free credits. I'm like SUPER W T F MATE!!! That's not even near the USB port!

So in conclusion we are still fighting this.

Isn't there a splash screen on the ITG machine that says what the USB port is -for-?

The managers over there are a bunch of idiots. It's a theater arcade so they don't care too much.

Salieri Oni is a 16. You have to do a 16th run that is 16 measures long at the end, a 16 measure 12th run near the middle, many bursts throughout, as well as hardly-bracketable jumps in 8th note runs. Yeah, I've passed Dragonforce sims, most of which are 15s. Salieri isn't a 14, it's like a mid-high 16.

Strangeprogram has constant 215 BPM 16th runs, with no care as to how many candles there are, they are non relenting and to top it off, you have to either absolutely kill your legs in the jump section that happens afterward by either bracketing, or absolutely kill everything except your legs by actually doing the jumps straight.

These were also rated 16s by the better/best players in the community anyway.

They must rate them on a different scale then. They are defiantly not 16's on the scale that's transferred over to the stepmania community from original ddr.

They werent 16's on keyboard, I don't know you would **** up the scale just because it's being played on pad.

By that scale gigadelic would be like a 24 when really stuff like death moon edit is only a 21.

All of the itg songs capping at 13 are rated nicely compared to all the keyboard songs and ddr songs. Strangeprogram is still a 14. Salieri at worst is a 15. Either way I'd really like to see someone do 240 bpm 16th constant streams on foot. Sounds like bs to me.

Bumping:

Foul Body Autopsy (240 BPM)
Crazy Loop 1.9 rate (255 BPM)
Destination of the Heart (240 BPM)
Infernoplex 1.4 rate (245 BPM)

All by the same person. The list can seriously go on just by Mad Matt alone. It's not BS. It's reality. The ITG community can easily stream over 220 BPM and not even break a sweat now.
