Re: Keto?
Depends on people I guess, but if a huge carb lover like me only took a couple weeks to convert and get rid of the craving, it shouldn't be that bad.
Once you get past that phase, it's really easy. Last edited by leonid; 02-21-2016 at 04:59 PM.. |

Re: Keto?
Status update
I hit 125lbs and I think this is too low if I want to keep cutting to hit my BF% goal. So I'm gonna increase my weight up to around 150lb and start over again. |

Re: Keto?
Progress report
I've been staying around 132 lbs for a while. Though I am happy with my weight, still not so much with my BF%. |

Re: Keto?
Progress report: I started to notice that gaining muscle mass on keto is possible, but much more difficult than I thought. I am going to stop keto and start eating carbs (but without sugary junks like I used to gorge on) until I get to my desired lean mass.
I still think keto is a really nice and easy way to cut fat. It just happens that I had no muscle to begin with. |

Re: Keto?
Building muscle on any diet is possible as long as you're eating sufficient protein and your daily caloric intake is at a surplus.
Keto definitely isn't great for bulking though, so it's a good thing that you're switching for the time being.
