not bashing it. there's just nothing to it; i suggested you ADD A MELODY OR SOME SORT OF COHESIVE ELEMENT. calm down and take criticism.

if you're going to waltz around and call yourself some sort of 'music producer' atleast understand how to make a good song

I don't suggest telling him to learn anything at all purely because every time I tell him to he gets pissed off and bitchy irl and then jumps to this "I've been producing music longer than you have, which is no time at all so I'm better than you hurpderp" complex.

edit: there's no helping him at all imo. He needs to find this shit out for himself and then feel like an asshole about it later.

Perhaps more constructive: there is no progression. That is, drag the bar to random places in the song and it won't feel as if they any parts are different. Use chord progression, or the whole thing will sound bland and monotonous as is already stated.
And the "melodies" don't feel natural at all, it feels like a bunch of notes put after eachother in a pseudo-random manner. Getting that better is only a matter of practise and patience though (at least it was for me).

This x 1000. I appreciate compliments, but when people tell me what they don't like, what they think is wrong, or just give general suggestions, it helps me so much in improving my music. That's why I typically make ~10 wips at different stages of a single song just to get advice for it.

Oh and also simply being a producer for a set amount of time and only listening to lossless music files doesn't make you a good producer. You must be as open to learning about it as possible, that's about it

This would be super popular on Newgrounds for menu music in flash tutorials, drawn-by-hand puzzles or something like that. As a song, though, not so much. It's more a loop.

That instrument you have playing at 1:50 plays notes that don't seem on the scale. Usually, I'm fine with all sorts of tension, but this just seems out of place.

If you're making it a loop, it could be shorter. If you're trying to make a song, this is not the way to do it. (see other posts)
