February 28, 2009

It is a dark time for FFR. The community that used to listen to the voice of the people and treat most everyone equally has been the victim of increasing elitism, dictatorship, and strict control. It started gradually, but eventually became increasingly obvious as unusual favors were handed out to FFR’s higher ups and queue judgment became impenetrably strict. People sensed that things were changing for the worse and started to protest, but were often quickly silenced; first, by well-crafted counter-arguments, then by a decree stating all such threads should be locked, and finally by deletion of the thread and permaban. The admins of FFR seemed to be going absolutely mad with power, and the rest of the staff just seemed to follow like sheep. The members of FFЯ, also known as Rapture, dropped off the radar entirely, and were presumed to be in the same boat as the corrupt administration.

No doubt, the people who had belonged and contributed to this site for as long as they did were shocked and enraged by this terrible new path that FFR was treading. They felt they needed to do something, and they would not stand for their beloved community driving itself into the ground. These people secretly banded together and formed an underground militant group called The Second Revolution. Their mission: to depose the elitist, power-mad regime and restore FFR to what it once was. There, just down the street, in that inconspicuous, old, abandoned-looking building, at precisely 5:00 PM CST, March 9, 2009, is where the First Conference will take place. Members of the Revolution all pitched in to buy and renovate the building. In it, history will be made. Here, they will decide where and when to strike. They would begin to devise a strategy that would lead them to victory. After the meeting, they will be rewarded for their efforts with some festivity to break the tension: delicious homemade pizza, chinese food, cookies, and other treats will be served; a soundproof room will be set up with Rock Band, and perchance they will have their own radio to blast their favorite music on. My prime regret in life is that I am unable to attend this conference due to my...status, but I hope someday that I will be able to make it up to them when the time comes. I have lots of things to make up to the FFR community; sometimes I don't even think I deserve to be chronicling these events, much less a part of the Revolution. Just to give you a taster of my story.

Okay, let's make it happen, Cap'n!


This is a huge game, as you all know, but I have faith in you, just as I have faith in my game. I have tried my best to not make this game an engaging experience, and not a disappointment for those who join! Please capture the interests of as many players as you can! If we get everyone to participate, we have a definite chance of having a great game on our hands!

This is a 24 player Mystery Game. It's a TWG, of course, so it will have the same mechanics at its very core; however, there is much more to it than may meet the eye. Several factions will be involved, with their own objectives. Some people may have to choose where their allegiance lies. Who will you trust, and how far are you willing to go to stay alive? The answers to these questions will be revealed within.

They're going to be combined, unless I hear otherwise. Combined host sign-ups + 24-player game... I'm pretty sure they're combined now. I'm still pitching my 16 player game next time, since smaller is still better in my opinion.
