TWG XIX: Atomic Apocalypse: It just keeps going and going...
http://img290.imageshack.us/my.php?i...pregame2ix.swf
Here's the dealio: I'm gonna send PMs in just a minute, but I'm lazy, so I'm only gonna PM the people with special roles. So if you don't get a PM, you're a human and you're not worth my extra effort. If you're really unsure, you can IM me (evilbutterfly87) and be like "BUT EB!! I HAVE TO BE A SPECIAL ROLE!! WHY DIDN"T I GET A PM!?!?" and I will make sure there was no mistake. That said, let's make this game fun. No cheating or I'll kick you outs da game. And all that junk. (first time hosting, dunno what else to say, you all know the drill) Oh, and mods: Don't lock this topic plz plz plz. I don't wanna have to go find one of you whenever I wanna update. Just a note to everybody: IF IT IS NIGHT TIME, DO NOT POST OR YOU ARE INSTANTLY OUT OF THE GAME! I DO NOT CARE WHY YOU ARE POSTING OR HOW WELL YOU KNOW ME AND THINK WE ARE FRIENDS!! IF YOU POST WHEN THE TOPIC WOULD NORMALLY BE LOCKED I WILL KICK YOU FROM THE GAME AND THEN STAB YOU IN THE EYE, K? I think we've all been around long enough to handle not posting.

RE: TWG XIX: Atomic Apocalypse: Pre-game
http://img3.imageshack.us/my.php?ima...xnight18je.swf
aperson died. He was a regular human. Day ends Sat. at midnight (meaning one minute after 11:59pm on Saturday, not the very first second of Saturday which comes right after Friday. Technically that means it ends Sunday, but if it really confuses you, just think of the day ending at 11:59pm on Saturday). And since you people harassed me about it, here's the player list (figure out AIM names on your own): JurseyRider734 Kilgamayan talisman HansSky mead1 QreepyBoris Tasselfoot LD Danceguy Afrobean TPS Roopert Omeganitros Imeric12 vashthestampede0987

Hahahahahaaaa, that was too damn funny. A shame aperson died, but still, damn funny.
Anyone got any theories? Killing aperson makes sense. |

Yeah, so anyway, TWG talk. Anyone have a particular drive against ap or something? That's all I can think of, other than he's smart. |

RE: Re: RE: TWG XIX: Atomic Apocalypse: Pre-game
Funny, I thought Hans would die. He really is the best night one kill.
Although ap was a decent kill too. He's very smart+he can sway votes in a Tass style manner if need be. It's too bad that he died as he'd definitely be an assett to the human cause if he'd have lived. PS anyone want to talk about TWG feel free to IM me. The person I talk about TWG with most is the host, so that just won't do, so I'm totally open to talk.

That's a pretty logical first kill. At least he was only a regular human, though.

RE: Re: RE: TWG XIX: Atomic Apocalypse: Pre-game
Afro's and Eric's posts strike me funny for some reason. The whole "Man, he was good, sucks we lost him, at least he was human" line looks funny to me, not worth a vote, but a look.
I was hoping Hans would get wolfed again, just because it would be funny, like Kefit in the earlier games. |

well I thought it would be either be him or hans. With an outside possibility of kilga or tass.

RE: Re: RE: TWG XIX: Atomic Apocalypse: Pre-game
Hans didn't get killed?! That means he's a wolf!
Kidding. Err...well...aperson is good with those linguistic analysis things, maybe the wolves felt he was a bigger threat than Hans. He has the potential to be a very powerful player, so it makes sense to wolf an almost-power player.

RE: Re: RE: TWG XIX: Atomic Apocalypse: Pre-game
aperson's linguistic analysis thing was complete bs designed to get afro lynched that one game.
And I think hans may have been promoted in the ranks so to speak... I don't think tass is that automatic night one guard that he used to be. So perhaps that also figured into the wolves' calculations. |

Aperson is great at this game, last time I checked, and having him as an asset to the humans would have been excellent. On the other hand, it is good that he was only a human, because if he were, say, the seer, then, well, shiit. Seriously, now. EDIT: I AM THUNDER, HEAR ME ROAR. ANGRILY.

I agree, but that line is over-used, so it could be used to fit in, I'm just looking at analyzing something other then the kill. It just struck me weird.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: TWG XIX: Atomic Apocalypse: Pre-game
People wouldn't usually go for Tass on night one, because since everyone knows he's hardcore into it, it's very likely that he would be guarded on the first night, and wasting a first night kill on someone who you can't touch is pretty stupid.
Do I have to coach you kids, or what?

Welcome to the Day One Doldrums:
I. The Reaction Phase ("Oh hey someone died.") II. The Wait for Someone to Say Something Stupid/Suspicious Phase (aka the TPS Phase) III. The Jump-On the Person Who Said Something Stupid Phase IV. The Jump-On the People Who Jumped On that Person Phase V. The Put an Innocuous Safety Vote on Someone Phase I expect this day one might even be slower than others too because the wolves know that any votes they put out to whoever gets lynched are sure to be analyzed, and that even accusing someone who later gets lynched could be perceived as suspicious (if the person who is lynched is human). edit: grammar fix. |

Wow, I have a whole phase named after me, awesome.
Reading back to see if AP has been wolfed in any other games, will update shortly. |

Think of how you would act and how you would vote if you were put in these circumstances as a wolf, though. That's definitely something to keep an eye out for. |

Also about the linguistics thing: I think ap does legitimately have analytical skills like that, but it was brought up as a BS reason to lynch me.
