Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
So brand new round tomorrow
Just wondering, were you going to count who finished all 3 as the first person done, or have each one one it's own scale. I'm wondering because I played all of the levels in TBA, not 100% though, then went to the Dino game instead of finishing right away. And how were the points going to work, this was a very confusing screwed up round. |

Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
you wouldn't have finished TBA 1st no matter what. lol. i had just beaten that game like 3 days ago, and worked on optimizing it.... no way someone who had never played it would beat me to 100% on it.
guess it doesn't matter now.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
I was kinda stretched for time -- I was out for the day and I had to change stuff around because I couldn't use all of Dynomite Deluxe that I wanted since the Save Function/High Score function isn't usable in the trial version. Didn't get back in time to recalculate the point values etc etc, so, new round tomorrow. Sorry again! It will be more organized.

Yeah...I had my TBA score for a while, then after I saw XBMaster's post thought, "Oh, I guess I shouldn't wait till I beat the dino game to post it, I'll post it now"

was playing that dynamite deluxe game anyway.... the challenge gets mad hard by the end. took ~2 hours, and i still had 8 levels left. there are easily 50 total.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
The reason why I say this round is based on speed, skill, and mental:
I will be grading everyone by how far they get into my round. Some rounds you will have to find somehow. I won't count later rounds until you finish earlier rounds -- this is where the speed element comes in: You only have a week to do everything. Skill comes in too because the games must be completed according to certain standards. Mental because it will be hard to find certain rounds. In other words, if you miss a day, you could still get full points for the round theoretically. I will post hints little by little as time progresses so people can at least progress through the round, but at the cost of having less time to complete the round itself. The rounds I post in this thread can have scores submitted in this thread, but anything else will have to be submitted according to the specific round involved (if you post it here you are only helping your competition know what the game is). All you will know is how far your competitors are. Last edited by MrRubix; 11-11-2007 at 01:57 PM.. |

Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
Round is up. I figured I'd give people more time to complete it.
